From the moment when you acquire the beauty in question, the overall experience of the game changes from "prey" to "predator". Even when fighting predators. Plus, it has the nice feature of rotating without firing which feels like "nothing's happening yet but if I pull the trigger, you'll have a few dozens of holes all over your body in just one second."
Very shortly after that follows:
Both of them. Removing one removes half of the charm. But admittedly they will never look better in anyone's hands than in Caleb's.

Felt like giving a shout-out to the grappling hook of Just Cause 2.
Such an awesome case of 1 + 1 = 3. A simple enough tool that combined with creativity just creates so much awesomeness that it carries the whole game.

Shotguns and sniper rifles (preferably with silencers if possible) in general. I also remember going crazy with the German stationary gun in COD 2, cant remember its name though, the one Germans used in the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan. You usually couldnt use it for very long in multiplayer since someone from the rival team almost always took you down when you got your hands on it but it was awesome fun anyway. Oh, and the shrinker in the original Duke Nukem.

Chivalry knight poleaxe for most satisfying melee weapon ever.
Stab for piercing, overhead for blunt, swing for slash, butcher's toolbox.
Fight on ruins with me as knight with poleaxe, my whole team is dead, two enemies left... a vanguard with a bardiche and a longsword knight.
The vanguard circles up behind me, not gonna happen sorry, I ignore him and rush the knight in front of me. He swings at me, block it and counter stab the poleaxe into his gut and combo into overhead, but turn around 180 degrees and run the overhead into the vanguard instead who I knew was gonna try and slash me in the back while I was busy with his comrade.
The vanguard is wounded, and my sudden overhead explodes his skull. The knight recovers behind me, I KNOW he's already begun his attack, duck right down to the ground and feel his slash pass over me, start a slash attack and turn around from crouching right up into his face, decapitation.
Raise poleaxe into the air and warcry. Best Chivalry moment.

How come no one has mentioned Belgium yet?
Some thing I usually missed in video games was weapons interacting with other stuff than creatures. Imagine if the BFG9k could melt walls, so you could create your own passages, etc.

THE HUMAN BODY IS THE ULTIMATE WEAPON!
Batman has a very good body in Arkham Asylum. 10/10 would use his body again.
While I very much enjoyed the protagonist's body in Hotline Miami, the ultimate weapon however has to be the doors in that game. It feels real nice to smack dudes in the ground by busting through the door like a shark:
Also honorable mention to the HF-Blade in Metal Gear Rising, for being one of the few swords in videogames that actually cuts people into pieces. It's because I always thought that videogame violence was lacking that extra oomph to make it more gratuitous.

i'm partial to anything that has a silencer, drains life, disentegrates enemies...
but if i had to pick just one, it'd be a chainsaw. doom, gta san andreas, etc. the chainsaw is king. up close and personal, and bloody as all hell.
close second would be a katana.

My aesthetic favorite in any shooting game are high firepower pistols that function like small cannons. Desert Eagle, Plasma Pistols, etc. Cover it in gold and they're even better. Pistols are generally secondary weapons, but kills with them are so satisfying.
Favorite melee weapons are hand axes / hatchets / tomahawk types. I don't intentionally plan to do it, but several of my RPG characters in different games have all ended up as dual-wielding axers. It just pulls me in.
I like my weapons small and I like them savage.

A tough decision. I really liked the Chronosceptor from Turok. The thin blue laser was instant death.
However, I'd say my favorite is the Stellar Converter from Master of Orion 2. Who needs to risk precious ground troops trying to conquer a planet when you can just rip the planet asunder?

I like how quickly the other races caved when they realized I was content watching the galaxy burn before the Antarians could invade it.
That said, it was nicer than what I did to enemy civilizations in Spore. I had no need to attack them. All I did was destroy their planets' atmospheres with terraformers and laughed as their pleas for mercy were ignored.
