Thank you It is gonna be really fun when the new rotation hits. I feel like the pool of cards are too big atm and that we are getting the whole picture of kobolds because of the big card base.
I opened Alu'neth in a pack today. So I have a lot of legendary weapons now. I am not sure if that card will be see play.. But well I have it now
I also crafted Kingsbane and DK-Guldan a week ago. Me and Blob talked about it and used all my dust on those. Not using Guldan, just keeping him for when the times come I want to play Warlock. Kingsbane is fun. Such a cool rogue card.

There are many voices that it's actually the best weapon in the set. Used in burn and tempo decks (like Secret Mage) it gives a lot of fuel to burn through.

Kingsbane is a fun card even if not it's not as powerful as it was theorized.
I on the other hand am completly clueless as what to craft next. I would like to craft some Epics but I'm afraid next thing I know it I'll get them in a pack. I'm even more confused with Legendaries. Like I said I'm thinking of Val'nyr, but at the same time am afraid that it won't be as enjoyable as I think. Maybe I'll wait for a pack Legendary and decide afterwards...
EDIT: @Emil
Check this out http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/1014814-legend-teras-onyx-control-rogue. Really cool deck to utilize Kingsbane. It works better then the one I published before cause it has much better draw. Plus I found a use for my double Onyx Spellstone I'm using Faldo'rei Strider instead of one Doomerang cause I only have a single one. If you don't have it, I think Rogue DK is not necessary in this deck.

Until you get them/craft them maybe try Vilespine Slayer (if you have it) or Assasinate? The second option is not as strong, but it can still work as a removal
EDIT: Traditionally one might say, I didn't even have to craft the Legendary I wanted. Got Val'anyr from a pack

It's not funny! It happened more then once!
Is Team 5 secretly spying me on this forum? Are you their agent Emil? Or maybe Abaddon! Or wait... maybe they are reading my mind!!!
But on a serious note, I'm thinking of crafting Lynessa. I assume it's a risky craft, but my dream of the Quest/Val'anyr/Lynessa buff Paladin is closer then ever But I'm really afraid this deck will be getting beat up badly, even in Wild, so I'll loose interest quite quickly :/

If I am a spy who tells Team 5 which cards you want. I am one hell of a good spy
Lynessa is .. A good card? But as far as I know she doesn't fit in the meta atm.. sadly! Because she is great in a control paladin (which is my favorite paladin type!)

Well, most meta decks are based on tried-and-true mechanics plus maybe a few additions here and there. A deck like Quest Buff Paladin is usually too hard to pull off when fighting against meta decks, but I don't think is less fun because of that. I'll think about this, I don't have a better idea currently outside of crafting a few Epics maybe, but it's not less risky because of that...
I wonder about Shimmering Courser. I didn't see it in the game even once, and it seemed as such a good card for Paladin, Druid or maybe even Hunter? I'm thinking of crafting it also for the Buff deck.
EDIT: Scrap that, I've crafted Lynessa and Courser. The Unicorn is actually decent in Paladin (I think this card is underrated). I'm using Lynessa with Galvadon and Brann in Wild. That way even if one gets silenced there's still another big minion + Tirion. Potential is probably not big, but deck is fun nevertheless...

What type is it? I know buff. But do you have an aggressive wipe to it or is it pure control?

Well I'm still experimenting. It's not that I want to make a good deck, cause I think it's impossible to do when we're talking about Quest Paladin in current meta. Atm I think it's decent, won me a few games already, but with aggresive decks it rather doesn't stand a chance. The problem is early game and inconsistency. I either have too many buffs and not enough targets or I don't draw enough buffs to make playing Lynessa worthwile etc. Not suprisingly one of the stronger cards here is Courser. It's tricky to play as you don't won't to loose it via trading, but give it enough buffs, and it's hard to deal with. I'm currently experimenting with how many buffs vs. how many minions there should be for consistencies sake. I've added Jailors cause they spam tokens for buff targets. Val'anyr is not required here, but I'm using it for fun.
If someone has any thoughts do share them
PS: As a cool feature Silvermoon Portal Summons a minion a second time when it's casted on Lynessa.
PS 2: Oh I switched Corridor Creeper with Ivory Knight for extra heal and potential buff spell.

I will take a look at your deck.
EDIT: YAY! Nerf season..
and then you look at the nerfs.
Patches - Waaaaaaaaaaaay to late..
Bonemare - fair enough
Raza - A little to late as well
Creeper - what an insane nerf

Nerfs seem OK aside from Corridor Creeper. The card will be dead, and I dislike when a card is nerfed so bad it is unplayable. I wonder if simply changing its effect to "when only your minions die" would suffice.
Famous Blizzard nerf-hammer. Maybe they want nerfed cards to die? Becuase they don't like frequent nerfs they rather kill off a card then tweaking it step by step.

Exactly! Why nerf it to death. The card is dead.
I really want to hear why 3/5 wasn't good enough ?
Another thing it is no longer an epic imo any longer..

Corridor Creeper has been the most broken card in a while, so although it is overkill I also feel like the punishment fits the crime lol. Also it is gonna be in rotation for a long while so they hit it hard, don't wanna see it coming OP again in combination with other cards. Now it surely will not
I expected Keleseth nerf but then again it was always Patches that was the problem... often a 3/3 charge free from the deck. Keleseth is simply a badly designed card, not necessarily OP.
Yeah I am liking the changes. What took them this long again though, geez! I am a bit curious what cards will get the Hall of Fame treatment, just please don't take away my Alextraza

Minion you do have the right argument for the harsh nerf on Corridor Creeper. It is going to be in the standard format for a long time, so a nerf now is good. very good.
I do not believe they will touch Alexstraza.

Well, nothing new here but problem with cards like Keleseth is that buffing aggro cards even more gets out of hand pretty quickly. It's no wonder that the most popular decks are those which "win games" before turn 5. If you won't stabilize the board your dead against them. There's just too many small cards that quickly start to get out of hand, their power level simply raises too quickly. An example that comes to my mind is when I create 1-2 cost minions decks just to complete a daily quickly (for example play 30 Battlecry cards). Lol, it turns out I win games against netdecks even, cause I overwhelm them with numbers. I know a single boardclear usually is enough, but that shows the crazy power level of cheap minions.
Maybe a way to limit this would be changing the mechanics so that "buff all minions cards" would turn into "buff minions which are above 5 ATK" etc.
PS: Corridor Creeper being a dead card is one thing. But I understood it's OP-ness when my opponent played two on turn 3. It's good they destroyed it.

Status before new meta/status on Kobolds:
1. I loved Dungeon Runs.
1.a I do not play it anymore
2. I have not played any standard this expansion.
3. I love wild mode atm. I have this paladin deck that I like
Great expansion, but I have not really used any of the kobolds cards.. and I have no desire to get any of the legendaries or epics..

Well the thing with Legendaries this expansion is that they're solid but aren't versatile. If you get one you might use it in some decks but nothing more (even the 'staple' ones like Aluneth or Skull are usuable in only 1-2 archetypes at most).
It's a solid expansion still. I like how most of the Epics are usable (aside from few, most are decent and usable in a number of decks).
Meta is not 'exhilarating' at the moment, but at this point I think we can all say that is how this game works. We have these intervals in which a few decks dominate and 'flatten' the deck pool.
Judging how it went so far, the next expansion will be lore based. Maybe something to do with Alliance vs Horde theme? With World of Warcraft coming to point in which it's hard to say where it will go from here (as one of it's main antagonists was defeated), one can wonder what this year (of the Griffon?) has in store for us...
PS: I'm a bit dissapointed in Wildfest. They had a lot more unique events before, this one seems a bit lazy.

Year of the Raven is the name of Hearthstone's next chapter.
All the details above, and my highlights are:
- First ever buff to a card!!! Molten Giant will go to Hall of Fame, but will get back it's old cost of 20 mana! Well technicaly it's not a buff but a roll-back rather, but it shows that something has moved at Team 5!
- Daily Quests will be revamped. Those will be faster to complete, and in some instances will give you more gold.
- Lunara will be the first ever Druid Skin. And it will be available to all!
PS: The fact that both Coldlight Oracle and Ice Block are going to HoF might mean I'll never see my most hated decks ever again (Freeze Mage and Mill Rouge). Freeze Mage is pretty Rare (though it might've comeback somehow, now it won't), but Mill decks are still out there...
