Stevie said: Oh, it's a Wild nerf. Yea, makes sense. I think I saw that combo in a Wild tournament a couple of months ago. Dropping Giants right after was such a board swing.
I belive Kripparian is partially "responsible" for this deck. He either made the concept himself or popularized it at some point. So you can blame it on him

I have opened two legendaries within the last seven days.
Grom and Shaw.
Grom I am really glad I finally got! Shaw not so much.
This expansion btw is the death of my Hearthstone experience.. It is so boring.

You mean because of the meta and seeing the same decks, or you dislike the cards in general?

The general theme has in the end been too Meh for me. I do not feel like it brought anything new. It did nothing fresh or different.
The cards are not fun enough..
I am just at another HS low And nothing could have compared to Kobolds.

Well I tested some decks after the nerfs.
Cubelock is still strong (just as people predicted), Giant Warlock seems to be crushed (it lost it's oomph effect with early power plays) and I don't see any Paladins around. Of course it's too early to judge but that is my impression for now...

Yesterday I had a very long Cubelock vs Controlock match (sort-of, I actually don't know what kind of deck it was, it seemed to take ideas from few decks). I left my Cubelock deck unchanged after nerfs, cause I wanted to check its current power level.
Opponent used things like Demonic Portal + Phantom Militia combo (interesting). We made cr*p load of Voidlords together (don't get any weird ideas ), the match was really long. I destroyed his DK board with double Defile, and still had Twisting Nether, but didn't need to use it as I 'burgled' his N'Zoth with Lich Kings spell (yeah I know, super lucky). We went to fatigue and he conceded cause I outvalued him. Made a few misplays, but overall I think I did good. You rarely see this kind of 'brain-training' matches in this game anymore

Luck is with me these days.
First Garrosh, then Houndmaster Shaw and now the third legendary within 2 weeks..
Tinkermaster Overspark.. What a horrible legendary to unpack.

Fun fact: supposedly Overspark is used as a tech card against Taunt Druid - he will always turn a minion into Beast, so he derails the Hadronox + Witching Hour combo by 50%.

I opened Azalina Soulthief, oh man do I really need to try that Quest-Archbishop deck that I have seen played. But that means crafting the Priest Quest, any experience with that? I can't imagine any other deck for Azalina at all lol

Ladder is really 'nice' atm.
Sometimes I have this urge to make to rank 15 for the added "100 dust" prize. Not only do I face almost only tier 1-2 decks on rank 20 (even in Wild), with Blizzards "upgrade" it makes you earn 5 stars to advance each one. This is even more of a grind then it ever was. Casual/new players must feel fantastic...

End of the month is always like this, because the ladder is about to reset and people grind for a higher price. Only two days more dude. I am playing Casual because Ranked gives me anxiety hahahah, and tbh I have faced tons of different decks after the nerfs. Lot of Taunt Druid though...

I'm currently rank 2 with a big beast hunter, it's a really fun deck focussing on recruiting big beasts.
I wonder if I should try to hit legend or not, would be the first time to do it with hunter for me. (previous times were warrior and warlock)

That's interesting, cause that's my general expierience throughout the month
But truth is I get discouraged pretty fast, I dislike the type of grind which makes you loose everything you're been working on for a few hours in a matter of one loosing streak :/
EDIT: Guys, if you've missed it there's a voting that gives a free WW pack: https://playhearthstone.com/en-us/esports/global-games/. There's also a nice event coming after 11th of June: one of the features will be special daily quests that give gold plus dust. It's almost an entire month worth of dailies so it gives around 1600-2000 extra dust

Cool, got a golden Illidan Stormrage from the events golden pack. I'll keep him for now...
EDIT: I'm playing Arena cause I have the dreaded 5 gold after I played the free ticket (I even thought of dropping the ticket just to avoid the situation, well). I actually enjoy it though. I can still see some "impossible-to-win" match-ups, but the overall experience seems to be quite balanced (in a Hearthstone "sense" of this word ofc), even with the added unique cards. I will never like Arena for the the fact how easily it crushes my optimism, but I remember it being really frustrating when I last played it...
EDIT 2: Had a chance to test the so-called Pity Timer. Got my WW Legendary in precisely the 39th pack
BTW: Summer HCT Los Angeles is just around the corner, so based on last year we might expect a reveal of Hearthstone second Year of the Raven expansion. If there are still people interested in the game at this forum, let me ask you: what are your predictions/guess for the theme (based on the art I presume)? Nether-something?

God I love my Bakudin opponents aways getting the Divine Shield buff from Unidentified Maul for all his minions when I am playing Mage. Just dandy. And now he even got it twice in the same game, as if I wasn't already out of removal from the first one. Saltysaltsaltsalt
