Oh you got Batman, he is nice for a Vampire based deck. 
There are three stages in DoC(at least from my perspective and some friends agree with me):
1) When you start playing and keep discovering new stuff, and you are really hyped because everything looks so good.
2) When you had discovered all of the new stuff and realize that you have to grind a ton to be able to get all those needed cards.
3) When you have all, or majority of needed cards and just keep making and changing decks, and just having fun overall.
#2 Is quite boring, at least it was for me, but if you can get past it, then it is all good. And they are helping new players with the Base set 2 release, new campaigns etc.

They opened a vote on next weekly on facebook:
"It’s time to vote for the next Weekly format!
Enter the poll and choose between : Academy (only Academy cards), Bloated (min. 109 cards) and Neutral (only neutral cards except Heroes).

So many possibilities.. Like, 3 common, 2 rare, 1 epic card duplicates. No spells. All cards available(as if you actually had them). No card below 2 cost. Automatic resource acceleration. Reduced cost for high level units.

Might be cool to also have one with only 1 - 2 resource cost cards allowed, or can't have cards with might requirement higher than 2....

well, today's jp open was a bust, didn't have a lot of time to play, when I finally got into my rythm the tournament ended; not sure about the results but I think I was 2 wins away from tier 1; I need to improve my game it seems, until the HoN expansion I used to make it to tier 1 easy.(haven't played jp since)

I think you have to be really, really good to do well in JP with standard as most top decks can beat each other and there is no clear winner. With Open, just use Cass

I do not know if it's worth while, I just wanted to see what I can do.
Played Myranda, as far as opponents go they were: Gazal, Cassandra, Ignatius, Garant, Hakeem and random Acamas. Mostly I lost to Gazals, did well vs the other decks; but in the end there was no cigar for me.

Just had the most incredible duel so far.
Got 4 vampires: newborn, knight, lord and death lord.
My opponent kept killing them with spells, cuz he couldn't with creatures. Think he was from academy. But, I managed to resurrect the lord and death lord 6 FRIKIN TIMES, 3 each. He was so frustrated. He dragged me long enough till he had no cards left. Was epic...

If you think those Vampires are good with recursion, just wait to see the Banshee. ^^
Right now, probably the strongest Necro creature in Standard, and is fighting for the first place with Decay Spitter in open format.

Seems my deck has a weakness versus inferno. Out of 3 games I won none. Almost had one but I made a GIANORMOUS mistake, put a creature in the back row between 2 other and he swept attack my ass. Fail. 
Hehe, just unlocked the infernal pit. Now I can sacrifice trash and get moar useful cards

Yeah those sweep attacks are killers if you misplace creatures!
Keep an eye on the pit too for a card that you might need (changes every 8 hours)...although you need to sacrifice at least 80% for chance to get the card.

So, I lose 2 games, then I get to win one but noooooo..... disconnect and get another lose.
Game can be a snow sometimes.
