A Life of Adventure Remake!
Please! don't judge the map right now. I uploaded it here in the hopes of getting some help. I intend to finish it, with each day the map is getting better and better!
IMPORTANT: Even after testing 10 times I made a mistake just before I uploaded the map. Trying to fix it but mega doesn't work... Sorry for that!
Download: https://mega.co.nz/#F!KMkxDRyR!-EzXlHGTdQ8RPCHJfzsuWg
DISCLAIMER:
This map is still in beta, it needs a lot of work. The first section is playable but needs a lot of balancing.
Good day! It's been many years since I first played the map, I still remember how much fun it was the first time, it made happy and nostalgic, thinking on how I used to play heroes 2 as a child.
This is my way of saying thank you to the community. I hope some might relive the sweet memories and at the same time find a new challenge.
Features!
(look below for screenshot examples)
Revisit old memories
Join forces with your old friend Nailag Ciad as discover Emokon again. Even though the gameplay and story is changed, there's enough there to make it feel familiar. There are a lot of enemies you need to kill again!
Custom Difficulty
You can choose between easy(3 at, 3 def, 2 kno, 2 sp) normal ( 1 at, 2 def, 1 kno, 1 sp) or hardcore ( 1 kno)
Strategic battles!
Every unit matters! 1 HP can be the difference between winning and losing. Use strategy to position your units, cast spells and destroy your enemies.
Unique situations!
Having one of each unit will make you face an interesting variety of enemies. There are many ways to win. You can use a reckless frontal attack hoping for double damage or dance around sniping units with your archer from a safe distance. Oh, and let's not forget about magic!
Choice!
Every time you replay this map you have a chance to create your own adventure. Do you want to use the deadly air magic for maximum damage? Will you use earth to shield your units or fire to enrage them? These options will give you a chance to win in many ways, some more efficient than others.
Upgrade Creatures!
Instead of starting out strong, you start the journey a peasant. You will need a lot of help and work to become great!
How to play
You need this mod:
http://heroes3mod.webs.com/download.htm
Download map from here:
https://mega.co.nz/#F!KMkxDRyR!-EzXlHGTdQ8RPCHJfzsuWg
Put the map into the maps folder. Go to Campaign => Custom Campaign and click on Emokon. You will need to load the .dat file to make it work properly.
It will take a lot of work to remake the whole map. I hope at least some of you are as excited as me. Let me hear your thoughts below!
Testers needed
You can help out with the map if you wish! I want to make the map challenging for pro players, so play your best and help me figure out what's the greatest number of creatures you can beat!
A familiar sight!
Scary goblins!
Strategic battles!
Choice!
Upgrade your creatures!
Choose difficulty
Bugs: Sometimes map starts with different units secondary skills and first aid tent. You should start map only with 1 peasant. Good luck!
Walktrough ( SPOILER)
1) Go behind your house at (on the right, under the castle)
2) Go north to the lake and click on the wood
3)Get the archer
4)Go S-W and get the Halfing, finish the quest with him
5)Kill all the goblins
6)Get the dwarf
7)Get the pixie
7)Move in to the secret mountains and get the druid + magic skills
8)Kill everything else until you reach the Ogre
9)Complete "main" quest and get your medal. Now you an choose a skill.
Changelog:
2014/4/18 version 0.1 first try
4/19:0.15 Added story and fixed some bugs. First section is 90% complete

Haha, it looks funny. Never thought before of the SW Mod conversion of the WoG maps. Actually I loved this map in the original WoG.
I'm afraid you might experience some problems with scripts later, if you won't do some changes carefully. There are some scripts which add some new creatures to the army, and also upgrade some creatures.
Actually, I would advise to use H2 Swordsman instead of H2 Pikeman as Pikeman is much weaker than H3 Swordsman and thus the balance of the map will be ruined.

I know ! luckily the attack/defense system is different so with a little boost he can take on stronger monsters. Life's not easy, he will need some good training to be a swordsman but he will get there someday!( later in the map for sure)
I don't have any ERM scrips, I'm doing the map without it. As you go on I will change the map to make it work. It's much easier to play. you can check it out again if you wish.

I guess you're talking about Samaritian campaign conversion not Life of Adventure. Still, all look interesting.

It's definitely a conversion of A Life of Ad-ven-tu-re. Yet, I don't understand these names the topicstarter tells about - are they new characters?

Hey, I loved this map! Although I must admit that I'd prefer to see it reworked for "vanilla" ERA, rather than H2 conversion
Nevertheless- are You planning creating continuation? I'd really like to continue this A-D-V-E-N-T-U-R-E!
