Okay. Zarvyx was quite the mess on feats. Feather wasn't as bad, but I grouped hers up a bit too.
I think I'll go with my thrower. Dimensional Dervish sounds nice, but it is all the way at level 15, which we're not likely to reach, I guess.
Edit: On second thought, maybe I will go with Zarvyx anyway. Disable device may be useful. I just want to give him intimidation. Need to figure out what skills to take from.

my favorite class will be fighter and I invested the favorite levels in skill points. Didn't take knowledge planes. Just didn't make sense for my character who is rather a clever chap that loves punching people to know about the planes.
EDIT: recalculated my offensive stats. I seemed to have overvalued some things, but I need to think about this more when I am clearer in the head

Still looking for the best way to spend the bulk of my money. I'll take the Wisdom +2 headband since I'm trying to tie everything to WIS. But beyond that, I'm at a loss. Is Cunning Longbow a good idea? I have 3 well developed Knowledge skills, but how often would I invoke a crit threat with a natural 20 only? Should I take Designating? Is that +2 morale bonus useful for everyone? (I think I like that one) Or should I put all my cash into a Speed weapon? Or maybe I'm not even looking in the right direction and should spend my money on something other than a weapon?
Help?

It's equal to +2 bonus, so it's 8k. But if I'm reading this right, I have to add +1 bonus to use a magic weapon so that would be a total of +3 and that sums up to 18k. With 4k for +2 WIS that's 22k which leaves me with 1.5k for standard equipment.

Are my non-common languages fine? I took Necril because Zarvyx doesn't like undead, so he learned the language of his enemy. And the other one, because, well, it just sounded fun. Plus I figured it might fit due to his horizon walking.
@Geny: If I do go with Zarvyx, and not Feather, you could switch that one spell back to what it was before.

Gnomes how are we determining weight of our misc. gear?
I'm swapping out Lightning Reflexes for Improved Initiative now that I've taken a look at the latter. Also, my Reflex save looks much better with that +4 Cha bonus behind it. 
@Dagoth: I've got Knowledge: Planes covered.

Unless I did my math wrong that's a cost of 18,027.25, leaving me 5,472.75 left to spend. Am I miscalculating anything or forgetting any expenses? Otherwise I'm going shopping. A cloak of Resistance +2 looks nice...or if I blow most of my remaining funds I can get a Type II Bag of Holding which will allow me to carry the corpses of up to two party members with no meaningful weight increase! Part of me is considering a Ring of Sustenance but I dunno...if we're tracking food that just kind of feels like cheating. :\ Maybe I'll find something that lets me add my Cha bonus to Knowledge checks or something...
*Using the original weight of the entire sword, so 5 * 8 lbs
**Most of the gloves I looked at were 1 lb so that's the weight I used. Poke me if you want me to use a different weight.

@DG: Let's not deal with traits. They are actually useful (they count as basically half a feat), but they also add more complications to an already complex game, and I'm relatively certain Kareeah will murder me if I give her more research.
@Geny, I disn't see Designating before now, but I have to agree that it is awesome. You don't have a bard, so you're not exactly going to get many moral bonuses that it conflicts with... And a speed weapon is actually soooort of out of your price range... 
@Alkar: Necril is the only problem, really. Fluff wise, it can only be heard/ spoken through negative energy, and it technically makes it so non-intelligent undead are unable to attack you... As far as languages go, it's a bit overpowered... Sort of a Munchkin's wet dream, really.
@Kareeah: For misc gear, let's just go with 35 lbs and call it a day. (This number will go down as you eat your food)
As for the wand, it will require a Use Magic Device check for you to use that wand of yours. (I believe the DC would be either 16 or 18 for a level 3 spell).
Also, with that much leftover gold, you could get a cloak of resistance +1 and a +2 Cha item, and get the same bonus to your saves (due to divine grace) and also get a netter bonus to your smites/ more smites to use! (As well as more/ harder to resist spells each rest) Yaaaay for free optimization.

Forgot I would choose 3 languages outside of common, due to me swapping abilities around. Oh well, I decided to move the linguistics point to survival.
Anyway, I'll figure out something outside of necril then.

Pft, silly OD, Pathfinder and D&D 3.5 are two of the more complex game systems. XD D&D 1e, 2e and 4e are rather quite a lot simpler, imo...

Looks like we're getting closer.
I did decide to move that one point back into linguistics. I may put a point or two more in later on, even. And I added in the weight for a couple items I forgot to, and added the 2 for masterwork tools.

So my equipment has:
- A Furious +1 Cestus for 8000 gold.
- A belt of physical might (+2 CON +2 STR) for 10000 gp
- A ring of Natural Armor for 2000 gp.
I have 1500 gold leftover.
Like a horse that doesn't die when you sneeze at it is 150 gp, IIRC.
So
- An old, grey swaybacked horse that goes by the name of Artor, 150 gp
- 2 weeks worth of food, clean undies, a backpack, 10 ft of rope, a hat against the sun, a warm set of clothes, a light set of clothes and a bed roll, a spoon, a cooking pot, a torchn sets of matches 50 gp
- Masterwork set of tools for the heal skill, 150 gp
- A big cook book, 2 silver
- A multi-purpose knife, (dagger) 10 gp
- 1189 gold and 8 silver rolled up in my backpack in sewn in several hidden compartments and also sewn in my jacket and hidden in my boxing irons and anyone who touches it, gets it! Also I've hidden waay more of it elsewhere where you'll never find it, so don't even think of double crossing me, or I'll hire the best trackers in the bloody country and I'll beat you up and take my money back and you'll beg for mercy, while picking up your bloody teeth, okay?!
So how much of a backstory do you need, Gnomes? I was think Ciaran is a rather big-boned farm girl, youngest of the bunch who had a penchant for getting in fights with brothers and then town watch and then bigger things, until she ended up in fighting rings and winning. It got a bit too brutal for her, then found herself some Jesus/ Lathander and decided to rent out her services for the common good, rather than by killing people for money. Is that enough detail or do we need like dates and names and places and a good chronology of events and facts?
EDIT1: My character is done, unless you require more of me
EDIT 2 : I have 20 STR, wear no armor, have two bits of metal on my fists. Unless we start factoring gold weight, let's just say I go unencumbered.

I've got 1k left. And I only have my battle equipment, the +2 WIS headband and the generic gear. And to tell you the truth I'm getting tired of digging around, so what else is worth buying? Potions? Masterwork items?

Armor, magic weapon, wondrous items is most important. Like, see that you have a horse, standard equipment worth 50 gp and anything fancy you can come up with. You're good to go, after that.

Several characters may attempt the same skill check, then. Like, if you fail a knowledge religion check, YOUR CHARACTER DOESN'T KNOW. PERIOD. So second dude may retry to remember it. You can also assist skill checks.
(However, sometimes, a character may try to remember next day, after doing "some reading" etc.)
It's handy either way.
