Edit:
I checked and it does. Though I don't know if a knife of "wood, horn, or tin" would be a satisfactory cutting implement under the circumstances.

A Void walker that had followed Feather around the bend is no longer invisible (and gesturing for you to follow), Ciaran and Feather saw some signs of a creature crawling along the ceiling, and any signs of void walker tracks that were in the pool of blood disappeared.

A good five minutes passed since you began to loot, and as I think I mentioned in the Roll20 group before, you do find enough food that isn't blood soaked to give you all an extra day's worth of rations.
