The swordbearer's name might need some tweaking imo. It's a pretty plain name for a Champion unit. (I would assume Crusader is a hero class OR the name of the upgrade, but it would be perfect for this unit).
Actually most of the names could do with some tweaking. I mean... "Arcane Bird"? lol.
OMG THE ACADEMY DESIGNS. BRING IT TO MY MOUTH. I LOVE both the Golem and Garg designs.
Eta: the last Academy Core unit appears to be undisclosed for now. Gremlins or something else?

Yes. Paladin/Crusader was H2 name and it would be more fitting, if thise Swordbearers were more armored. But since Paladin was already a Haven class in H6 and this guy is much less armorer, Paladin/Crusader wouldn't fit that much.
With that said, Swordbearer name could get some work too

Simply no. Heroes 6 had too many neon lights. Haven Seraph had glowing wigs. This one has feathery normal white wings and a very nice armor. The helmet is simply superb. It's the best looking Seraph from all Heroes games hands down.

If we don't count H3/H4 angels, I fully agree. This is Ubi best design of Seraphs 
But I always liked the more, classic/Roman design of H3/H4. Maybe because I'm spanish and I'm used to those, idk.

I - Well, in my opinion it will be game between 5 and 6. Which could try combine the success of HoMM5 and some 6th elements, e.g. style, reputation and storyline.
II - I like to play with all factions but warlocks (not dark elves!) from Enroth/Axeoth and lizards of Tatalia are my cup of tea. In Ashan i find interesting Academy concept and prefer them because mages have interesting eastern style (more bright that "asian" Sanctuary) and suitable tactics.
III- "Traditional" pack of factions, for example, as in HoMM2: Haven, Necro, Sylvan, Dungeon, Stronghold and Academy. The other 3 sides are good too, but in my opinion concepts of Fortress and Sanctuary were released in previous games too weak or boring and Inferno has been "overused" in storyline, there are no space for them to be original.
IV - despite i'm fond of Grimheim, Sylvan is more classical and easy to make faction, that's my choice.

Now, a hard question that is. I personally would still love a H3-fortress-return, I would like to see a new faction - one that captivates me more than sanctuary did, which (only from looking, not from playing, of course. since I did not) impressed me not at all. And I'd also like to see the classic ones in, so...
if thinking about a total-wish I'd prob'ly like 8 Factions in the Vanilla: Haven, So-called-Sylvan (never liked the name, rampart was more my taste), Necropolis, Academy (not necessarily Desert-styled but as we're in Ashan *sighs* ... ), Stronghold, Dungeon (as a nice mix of monsters and shadowy beings), Fortress (H3) plus a new faction).
Now, getting a tiny bit more realistic, it will be six, not eight, so who shall be cut out? If it was about my wishes, considering sanctuary, I think a new faction may be too screwed up, so its out. Haven, Academy, Necropolis and Stronghold are known to be in. From the rest, I think I'd rather see H3Fortress return than Dungeon, at this point, so my final six would be Haven, Sylvan, Necropolis, Stronghold, Academy and Fortress (H3 Style). Pretty unrealistic (especially considering Academy seems to have a lizardman-ish unit), maybe, but my wish nonetheless.

None, because I'd have to make an account^^ If, I'd choose Sylvan because I cannot imagine HoMM without that forest faction. (It is one of the factions that is in from the beginning and to me still feels very close to what it was in HoMM II (unlike, for example, Dungeon or even Stronghold, when it comes to terms of style), which was the first heroes I played, and whose "sylvan" is close to HoMM I's . Fortress was a wonderful idea, imo, but it was not that well done in H5, and I got no reason to suspect it would be better here.

Then make an account and vote Sylvan. Every vote counts. It's a rare opportunity for Ubisoft to let you chose which faction should be in game, so best make use of it.
We should be involved in the making of the game as much as possible.

I actually think we're gonna have a surprise in case we see Dungeon vs Inferno. I sincerely think demons would win. Frankly, I don't really care that much who's gonna win the second vote. We already have the main factions here imo, elves included.
Let's hope tho that we'll rather have Sanctuary, or better yet, Fortress round 2.

I read somewhere on the homepage as comment (by someone with an avatar) that next vote would be inferno against dungeon.
I personally would really really like some other vote more, certainly, but on the other hand there is a lack of "evil" factions so far, certainly: the only faction with an "evil" feel is necropolis.
If dungeon and inferno are put up against one another I am unsure who'd win - and unsure who I'd vote. Thinking of H3, I like dungeon FAR better than inferno, but on the other hand: Ashan Dungeon is not that nice. But hten again, that goes for most Ashan factions: I just liked their H3 counterparts better.

I - hyped
II - either Sylvan or Sanctuary, can't really decide between this two
III - we already know about Haven, Academy, Necropolis and Stronghold. It's fairly obvious that Sylvan is going to win. The last one? If the rumors are true, and the last voting is Dungeon vs Inferno, than my vote goes to Dungeon. I like them more, and I just can't picture a demon sitting next an angel on the Shadow Council. Now if the last voting is Dungeon vs Sanctuary instead...
IV - Sylvan, of course. Elves, ftw.

Factions design in "HVI" really irritated me for using extremely bright colours. Even when speaking about buildings.
Just decided to try some elementary colour and light / shade changes on them, and the results really make sense personally for me. It's a matter of taste, of course.
Haven: original / my view
Necropolis: original / my view
Inferno: original / my view
Stronghold: original / my view
Sanctuary: original / my view

I don't trust much Erwan leBreton when he is speaking about "true elements" of the franchise, but I have to say H7 looks quite promising : most of the core elements of game mechanics that were removed(!!) in H6 appears to return, H5 skillwheel is excellent news, townscreens looks gorgeous to me, especially the Academy one, and it has better 3D than its two predecessors, imo.
