Can't really say I like what I'm seeing with the dungeon.
The assasin I very much feared they would copy-paste and they did. The "new" assasin looks possibly even worse than the original from h6(which was excessive in itself). Mostly I'm disappointed with the fact that they used the way better h5 picture as reference as I recall when the faction votes were on. They could've just been honest and shown h6 assasin if they were gonna copy/paste it anyway...
The demon hunter from Diablo 3 stalker looks just like some of those lousy/cheap copies you see done in some chinese MMOs compared to originals(D3 Vala in this case). That is so clear rip-off, but not like blizzard cares. Blizzards version looks much better IMO.
Troglo as seen already before looks like total alien. Horrible colors on both versions(especially upgrade), I would've expected something more down to earth -type coloring(for whole faction to be honest).
Overall I don't get the coloring they choose. People complained about color-coding in h6, yet all three units seem to like purple. The gold color seems completely off for units that like staying hidden. Plain, natural down to earth colors would have been way better. Black/dark would also work if they didn't make such contrasts between colors. I'm ever more so sure that they either hired the cheapest guy to do the designs or just some total amateur who did it for free. Ohh yeah and once again nice over the top designs btw!(No worries, I wasn't expecting anything good from their designers at this point anyway )
I'm guessing it's safe to say we got incoming copy/paste minotaur(h6 basic version looked very nice though), pearl-priestess and dragon aswell. Again with medusa they might as well have shown as the h6 version straight back then if they didn't even bother to change the staff to bow like in the pics(based on the description given by zeki).

regular purple fest with some regular elves pretending to be something else then normal elves... h6 had at least a beholder in it. i remember when dark-whisperer and others called my predictions as bullsnow, please guys, please do it again and call them bullsnow.
is this not purple? is this not filled with same not-dark elves? blacky isnt a butterfly again? please do say it, call my predtions as "gibberish"
......................even snowing crossbow has spikes and purple.

Oh mighty painter Cleglaw, whose eyes see all the hidden shades! Tell us the true colour of these:
- The Haven Hero's armour
- The armours for the various Haven units
- The unupgraded Gargoyle
- The unupgraded Golem
- The Colossus/Titan
- Necropolis Skeletons
- Grim Rider armour
- And any other "not actually grey" things, while you're at it.
Because the Chthonian is TOTALLY "purple" because "grey isn't actually a colour".
Oh, and while you're at it, tell what colour the forums are, because "grey and black aren't colours", so it also follows that WHITE isn't a colour.
Come on, Cleglaw! Don't leave us hanging! Show us that your comments aren't just pretentious twaddle! TELL US THEIR "TRUE" COLOURS!
(This post was a lot angrier, but I've edited it down after calming. I was furious, though - like, multi-hour enraged - as evidenced by my next comment. Probably for the best that you weren't here for us to actively butt heads. Just... please don't be pretentious. Grey is grey is grey.)

Fun question
So they took the H6 Shade/assasin and updated it, and created the stalker combining H5 Assasin and the D3 demon hunter.
OK I would now like an opinion of some of you. It would still be ratheer bad, but...
What if they gave the H6 stalker an update and the shade/assasin would get a new model, would it be beter?
In other words if you could chose. Which one of the H6 DEs would you greenlight to be in H7.
I know many of you dislike the High fantasy style, but I personaly liked the basic designe of the H6 stalker, and with some leveled tone it might be have been nice.

I prefered the chakram girl too but i like the stalker and the assassin color palette. The ideal for me would have been the blade dancer, the assassin and the the stalker

ermm... Ashan's dark elves have been using hoods, capes and crossbows before Duablo 3 existed...
The dual wield, now there you could have point

Stalker is FINE and anyone who says otherwise is a nitpicky little snowstain who can't see a single thing in H7 without comparing it to anything else! GOD, THIS COMMUNITY!

As for the assassin/shade, just remove the feathers. That's it. That's all it needs. We can deal with the rest, but the feathers should go. It can't be that hard to just clip off a bit of the model and smooth out the stub, right? Right?

I actually like the Stalker.. has a good feel, and hooded dark elves go way back into the past before D3 or even WC. It's the classical problem of the warcraft generation. not knowing the influences that inspired it.
My question was more about what was better, or tolerable, in H6 the Shade, or Stalker

I think the H7 Stalker, at least as far as the concept art goes, is superior to the H6 stalker. The H6 stalker... well, super-long braid didn't really work IMO, and the "platemail bikini" just feels goofy in comparison to the cloth equivalent of H5.
Not to sound too perverted, but I think covering up the female soldiers was the smartest move Ubisoft could make. More a mystery allure than straight-up skin. The shorter hair also looks better, since the previous iterations seemed to compensate for reduced clothing with increased hair, which... yeah, it just looked silly.
Not even going to mince it with the Assassin comparison: Stalker wins.

Thanks for the summary Zeki, your report indicates Elvin and ChrisD may be right about creature abilities. If that's the case, I hope they do another pass on abilities. Overall, I'm optimist about h7.
About dungeon, this explains why bladedancer lost his mask. I think these elves will pass a better impression when animated. I liked the stalker and my bet is assassin will get a better vibe once in 3d and fully animated. was expecting a different upg troggy, but it's fine. About the colors, I see more black and grey than purple here. :S

edit:just saw we'll get 12 neutrals at release. 
Gold dragon seems to be the new summon similar to shantiri disc. Phoenix isn't there, I hope it comes as a master prime spell.

It might turn out to be more neutrals, since the blog did not show all of them.
Maybe even phoenix, since it certainly won't appear as a spell. Prime school was shown before and did not contain that.
