Prepare your questions for tonight. We need to milk as much information from the devs as possible. Don't dwell on details too much, focus on the core.
For example I'll be asking about the skills and push for a random system like in the old days. Or at least a compromise and let the player choose if he wants his maps with random skills or all pick.
Point is, don't lose this opportunity on useless spam in the chat. We need to provide them with constructive criticism and find out what they plan on doing as much as we can.

Well, I meant something dirty from political point of view... but yeah, that is a dirty detail indeed
Now if we discover that Ivan killed innocent people, burnt villages on his way to Unicorn, deceived everyone with his lineage. And killed Sandalphon...
Point in case is that the USA nearly forced Clinton to abdicate over the Monica-incident, not over anything that was of any political or national relevance. The only reason I can think of is that the incident supposedly compromised his personal integrity.
That being said, you'd be surprised how many conflicts (from just a few people down to wars between nations) have arisen due to lust and love. Although (heavily) romanticized, the story of Romeo and Julia comes to mind, but the Trojan War just as well. In the current day and age, the concept of family honor - although predominantly present in religious circles - is also usually at odds with lust and love.
With regards to Ivan, his lust for women might very well have made him lots of enemies among the men attached to those women. And some or even many of them may be men of power.

I like the background stories and lore that they keep building up around Ashan, albeit can feel a bit pushed and strained at times.
They should ease up with references to sayings and folktales though. It can be a nice touch at times, but not all the time. Some things can just be, as they are.

Thank you. Unfortunately I'll miss the appointment. Those are my arguments for what they're worth :
- This system has had his proofs for what, 20 years. Only flaws that can be fixed.
- It's always an excitement not to know what's gonna pop up.
- Better replayability, taking paths you wouldn't have gone with if you got to choose exactly what you wanted more than once made great games for me. Made me change my game for the best.
- Adapt to situation is good for strategy, and more entertaining to some extent.
- Having to choose on random avoids you of planning everything like almost any other RPG.
- I don't want to spend too much time studying the fixed skillwheel and want to play right away.
- Is one of the unique flavours of HoMM.
I know I'm not so good at presenting arguments but I still give my thoughts and opinions as I've been given the opportunity in this forum.

Yes that would make everybody happy I guess.

I think I'll ask about champion's choice and the possibility of changing it.
I hope we get answers today.

If so, there will be atleast 1000 dissapointed people.
I don't think we'll get any useful info out of this...
Maybe we'll get Erwan or another dev to prattle about how they are big fans of the franchise... and tradition... and Ubi's vision...and community involvement.
Bleh.
Sorry if I spoiled peoples fun but if the above scenatio turns out to be the casedon't be surprised.

I won't be able to follow it, unfortunately ... can any of you guys squeeze in a question with regards to how flanking is supposed to work? What's required for an attack to be considered "flanked"?
