Condemn me if you wish, but...
I don't care for #GURS, partly because I hate hash tags.
But, otherwise, I'd like to experience a skill wheel like H5, but with non-random skills/perks. H6 did NOT deliver in that regard. I wanted non-random skills, but H6 got bogged down with the Spell system being integrated with the Skill/Perk system, which ended up as mostly a Non-Random Spell/Activated Ability system, which i did not want. Now that Spells are back to their rightful place, that is, in Mage Guilds and not Hero Level-up screens, I'd like to actually experience Non-Random Skill/Perks, since I haven't yet.
Perhaps they could have an option that could make the "suggested" skills/perks appear, but you don't have to select? Like, in the Options menu, have an option saying "Must choose between random suggestions". So that when you have it on, it acts as a RS, but leave it unchecked so you get NRS? I'd be down with that.

Roc (from the Arabic and Persian رخ Rokh or Rukh,[1] asserted by Louis Charles Casartelli[2] to be an abbreviated form of Persian Simurgh)
WHY ON EARTH THEY DONT DO Roc -> Simurgh?

Perhaps because there could be a possible Roc => Thunderbird?
However, if they don't go through with this, then I'd agree with you.

I think you are part of a minority. Though I agree strongly all would be pleased by setting an option in menu, random skills : on/off.

Too much hassle, not enough money. I wouldn't count on it...

I know I am in the minority, which is why I brought up the option. I wouldn't say we should have only NRS, as that'd displease a great number of people.

With that viewpoint, I'd wager that RS isn't happening, as choosing directly would be easier to implement.

Ok, now we have 4 full line-ups. Now it's time to pass onto main dish, Necropolis and Stronghold

Hold on, we still haven't got the full-coloured Academy line-up.
Stronghold should come next in late December/January.

That would be awful, because I want Necropolis more than anything. They should release bits of both Necropolis and Stronghold to please everyone.

I don't think that's coming. Judging by how they favour continuity, next up is stronghold (3 reasons: they did might/magic first so i doubt they will follow it up with another magic faction + the way it is listed on their site + random sketch of a basilisk orc combo).

I think they'll tease Stronghold and Necro simultaneously, then start revealing Orcs completely, then Necro, then tease Sylvan and Dungeon and then start revealing them completely.

Because it's part of what makes the setting so unique and different from others

Since teh description already mentions Rokhs when describing the eagles, wouldn't it have been more reasonable to name the creature Rokh? Sounds better then arcane eagle...
I guess Rokhs are something else in Ashan?
Rohk = Thunderbird.
That you are not up-to-date on the lore from heroes 6 I can forgive, but please do read this forum before you ask a question. Your question was already answered two pages back.

Simurgh are wolf/peacock/lion creatures, nothing to do with a roc, appart from the size of the beast.

I also see no wolf/lion features on the wizard bird. What gives, Ubi? <>

Depends on the legend. In some of them, they're actually regular birds, in others, they have human or dog faces...
To quote the wikipedia page, it's worth noting that some believe the name Simurgh comes from Pahlavi sin murgh ("eagle bird") and Avestan saeno merego ("eagle").
