Seriously, does no one tell Ubi that their lore is crappy? HC is the biggest heroes forum, does Ubi doesn't give a crap about us, are we so insignificant? Most of HC members I saw dislike Ashan and think the plot is stupid, yet this is the 3rd game based on Nival's lore. Can't we do a petition or something?

Nival did not come up with the Ashan-continuum. Erwan did. And he is excutive producer. As long as he is the Grandmaster Muckity-muck, we're stuck with Ashan.

Ah hm, well, yes, I suppose lore wise, the whole invasion thing is redundant! I don't care really, I've watched enough movies, almost everything is redundant to me now. You people certainly won't find the best "lore" and "twists" in video games. Well, it happens but it's damn rare.

My biggest problem with the story of Heroes 6 is, that it was such a rip-off from CoH. Girl dying and becoming undead, snotty boy thrown in sheogh. That's exactly the same in both games 
Other than that I quite enjoyed the story. It wasn't the greatest writing and some characters were quite annoying, but at least it had a reasonably interesting storyline and it didn't abuse the demon invasion as a plot-machine.
I think the set-up for the Heroes 7 campaigns is good. With each councillor telling a story those bad writers from ubisoft don't have to think of strange plot-devices to include all factions.

well that's a blessing and a curse in the same time. a plot including all factions in real time would be way much more interesting but more difficult to write. the thing they did was the easy way out for me. i don't know if it's gonna keep me interested in the story. especially for functions i don't like AT ALL(i'm looking at you stronghold).

Couldn't they just open an address somewhere (forum, e-mail, whatever) where fans could submit some well thought-out and well written plots? If for nothing else than to find inspiration for their own story lines and plots.

Demons and Faceless are enemies to humans but nevertheless someone will sit in Ivan's council... Demons are responsible for the massacre of the royal house and Faceless are children of darkness, heretics...
Maybe the final faction will be chosen between Dungeon and Sanctuary.
