Joke aside, keep in mind this is not the final, H7 concept art for the unit. It will be one of the inspirations for the creature, definitely, but it won't be used "as is".

Not denying that, but a lot of people were mad at Emerald Knight concept because the armor was unrealistic...but a swordbearer of the same tier, armorless is cool. I find it funny
At least they should have some magic leather armor, something light but giving protection so you don't expect them to fall at the first hit

I think that had more to do with the fact that the main art was female and had her belly showing and had her breasteses armoured but very visible.

No armor is cool with me. What's not cool is partial armor that covers all the non-essential areas while leaving breasts and belly naked. That just reeks of cheep attempt to sell by sex.

How boring of a unit he is...

As little clothing as possible is was a characteristic to Native Indians like Hurons for instance (not too mention many other cultures), which also didn't use that much clothing because it was simply more comfortable that way. I see nothing in the way of sell-by-sex-appeal here...

Finally, someone else saw the similarity! Oh, how I love that char (check the avatar). And that's why I want more effeminate blade dancers. H5 ones were in that direction but they were childlike instead of effeminate. Although I'd be ok with my baby being the only effeminate, maniac killer of major video games.

I'm actually surprised people like the Blade Dancer. I think it looks like a pile of snow, the emerald knights look so much better imo.
Also, that Deer needs to stay the snow away from Sylvan. Bring the Unicorn in instead ffs.
