About Sylvan voting
Ubisoft first divided fans in two with H5 and now they successfully divided them in three with this voting.
We all, fellow Heroes of Might Magic lovers, shouldn't be fighting between us.
Ubisoft is the one responsible for this, first by making jousting in the arena a faction that appeared in only one game, against one that was only missing from one.
My dwarven friends, your hate is turned against the wrong people, Fortress was dommed day 1 by its own creator. It's business strategy, Fortress will be there in H8 at worst.
Now they continue their ongoing madness with Sylvan's lineup vote, Unicorn VS Phoenix VS Blade-dancer...
We CAN stop this. If we ALL unite and agree to put those three creatures in the same lineup, having H7 faction featuring Blade-dancers along with Unicorns and Phoenixes, all fighting together for the first time since the series was created.
We are ALL able to compromise.
PS Please don't troll, this is about the franchise's future.

You and I can argue later over how much to blame Ubisoft. What matters to me more is this compromise. How do we ensure that this compromise is actually achieved in the game.

HoM&M community is well known for being whiny and criticizing every single thing. Ubisoft assumes we can never agree and goes with votes. But their votes creates even more hate. Let's prove them wrong by being united, as a whole, knowing what we want.

This sounds like an uphill battle, but, for what it's worth, I am on bored. I agree a compromise line should be created.

I would have preferred unicorns in Sylvan (maybe the Green Knights ride them?), but no big deal.
As long as they don't add a town type called Forge (tanks, chainsaw zombies, etc). Even Conflux (although badly balanced) was/is better than Forge (which probably would have been just as badly balanced too).

@Zeki : Even with upvotes ? You misunderstood : Ubi says they listen to the community. They will read upvotes in 4 days and have a good laugh. However, if there was a huge percentage of upvotes demanding this alignment, could they refuse ? Also, as much as I agree with you regarding Forge, please don't feed offtopic

A system where you can vote the units you prefer on each tier would have been better, probably.
But voting should stay, it's fun and we (sometimes) see people arguin why X or Y is better/fits more the faction etc.

How dare you turn against the holy forge faction for it is the holy grail of Heroes of Might and Magic that is to be never touched by any mortal human!

what i wanted to say is that i like the idea of such a town and i'm sad that even with wog and hota and who knows what there still isn't a forge town in h3.
well back on-topic; as much as i like your idea you shouldn't forget that even if all of heroes community would unite we'd be only a fragment of the heroes fanbase and even if all fans united there are more than enough people out there that wouldn't care about our goal; which would buy the game anyways leading to ubisoft not giving anything about our rebellion and going on as planned..

well, actually, while i still don't think ubisoft would care you might have a chance to get limbic's attention as they do seem to care about the fans. but wether they could change this system and/or the sylvan line-up anymore is still questionable. might be worth a try but people are so hard to be motivated to do anything nowadays it'd be tiring for i can promise you this  ..
btw it would be easier if you made a new post when writing as i almost didn't see that you answered me.

Excuse me but I don't fall under the Phoenix/Unicorn/Blade Dancer trifecta categories.
So yeah, if there's a campaign/petition going on to manifest this "assumption", good luck then. My vote stands.

ugh. I don't want those big chickens near my forests burning everything in their path.
Blade Dancers are awesome. They are a must for Sylvan. As for Unicorns, I don't care if they're there or not.

The only way to show this to Ubi is to stop somehow the whole world community from voting. And this is impossible.

+ i think the option to vote , is better then no vote!
dev's could have just put any line-up that we couldnt influence in any way.

so calling disgracefull a bunch of people is your idea of calming down? not all haters are from ubi era,the blade dancer was insulted a zillion times and in the worst way insulting homosexual people too.
but when a phoenix is being called a chicken, suddenly there is a place where we ALL need to calm down.
you weren't worried about that before when everyone acted the way i described?
also when was this beautiful thread when balance was winning? didn't we need to compromise then?
just because fury voters here are less than balance voters didn't we need compromising then? suddenly this thread arises because fury is winning. you need to understand that this community here does not represent the whole gaming world, so we can compromise because some people will be pissed off.

neither was balance, but now the need arises to compromise, not earlier, but now because most people in here are upset.most people in here aren't the most people out there voting.or playing and enjoying this game. and this is what you need to understand.
you didn't think of it before for a reason. and that was because the poll was closer to your preference and now you want to open a thread to "compromise".
