Man, why it's always with voting and stuff ? I really wish they just chose it without the audience, 'cause now there is always going to be a group of people who don't like the outcome. I chose for option 2, despite the fact I want to see a mixture of all the groups.
F.E:Core:  Troglodyte/Chtonian
          Stalker/Traker
          Beholder/Evil Eyes()
   Elite: Medusa/Medusa Queen
          Shadow Priestess/Shadow Zealot (like in HOMM 5)
          Minotaur/Minotaur Guard
Champion: Manticore/Scorpicore
          Black Dragon/Shadow Dragon;

The way things are, we won't get beholders. It's in third line up that will be most likely removed by the end of the next week, and 1000 faces will most likely win and that line up has no beholders.

oh well, can't have all I guess.

But seriously, shadow, unicorns???? Cmon, that's an asspull unit. Oh well, at least 1000 faces line-up should win then.

I agree that Shadow Unicorn is a ridiculously bad name, but if we look past that, the concept of a black horse associated with terror and nightmares is a pretty good match with Dungeon. I do think the Inferno match in H5 was a more natural fit, but still, it could work well if the style was done in the right way.

But Nightmare was first introduced in Heroes IV where it was part of the Asylum lineup that is the predecessor to Dungeon, in Heroes V it was moved to Inferno not to repeat the exact same lineup of Heroes III Inferno so I disagree about the natural fit. If it makes it into the game then it would be a retcon of course, like how Rakshasa is beast-man now and not a "vengeful spirit".

But Shadow Unicorn sounds like something out of a bad horror movie. And even so, they would still be better with Inferno, 'cause there they were  during HOMM 5. Oh, well. #RETCONEVERYTHING.

I really think we should leave Nightmares for Inferno. This is just my opinion and I'm not trying to insult Inferno fans, but I think Inferno struggles with its line-up, which is ironic given that there are so many great and diverse mythological demons. But, unfortunately, Ubi seems reluctant to dive into mythological demons, and other than the staples, seems to insist on offering their own generic creations such as the Maniac. I think Inferno's line-up has a lot of potential but I don't have faith that Ubi will fulfill that potential. Having said that, if we realign Nightmares so that they're with Dungeon, the odds of having them in Inferno will be close to zero, but if we don't introduce them in Dungeon, then it's very possible we'll see them in Inferno. So whether or not they fit Dungeon isn't my main concern. My concern is that they fit better in Inferno and I'd much rather see them there.

Voted Shield, at least I'm getting back my old Dungeon.

But people have to vote for the elves and nightmares in Dungeon...

I mean, it's not like I'm spiteful but, really, if we were to have nightmares Inferno would have been more fitting, since in Ashan they are an Inferno's prerogative.

But anyway, thousand faces sounds pretty good actually, so in the event shield gets ousted I'm looking forward to the victory of it.

I disagree jackson, in Heroes VI Inferno felt re-invented and went to a better direction than Heroes V which was just a Heroes III redux with silly design. I'm sure the devs can come up with more demons for a possible expansion even if Nightmare is in Dungeon without fire.

BIAS! Since I like the lineup and it gains popularity quite quickly, everything is perfectly fine. When I do not like it and it does the same thing, the reaction is: 'Ah! They gained support, they are cheating!'. I also like the third lineup, but this hypocrisy makes me simply aggravated!

Not bias... These situations are not at all equivalent. Fury increased by about 10% in less than a day, and that happened spontaneously a few days after the vote had begun without any apparent cause. Shield of Darkness increased by a mere 1% in about a day and another 1% since then. It's gradual, steady, and minor, and so not at all suspicious.

That's fine. Like I said, it's just my opinion. For me, I place a fair amount of importance on mythological creatures in Heroes games and for me, ironically, Ubi tends to be much more generic when they try to introduce their own creatures.

While HV went for a cartoony look, it is of my opinion that its Inferno lineup stylistically had a more sound design.

Vote Shield! It has 2 Core shooters, you can start creeping them pretty fast, I suppose. Also, only two walkers(Strider and Minotaur) as opposed to blade's three(Assassin, Darkblade and Minotaur)

Shield wouldn't be bad at all, in core and elite there would be 2 shooters, 3 walkers and a flyer. I don't think it would be super defensive either, just the most defensive of the three. It offers more options than Thousand Faces which has 4 walkers and 2 shooters in core and elite, that said we don't know how the Trogs ability works yet. Most likely scenario I think would be that they can dig underground to get around obstacles with a 3 turn cool down. Closest thing would be the light riders ability from H6. Unconfirmed obviously, but it could act like the griffins does for all we know and they could return to their starting position.

I still think that Blade having 2 teleporters, 3 walkers (one being strike and return) and a shooter it gives you the most options in a battle, and allows you to get behind the enemy for flanking attacks. I'm not a huge fan of the faceless, but how the lineup plays is more important.

I'm frustrated that so many people are voting for Malassa's Thousand Faces. It's such a similar setup to both Haven and Sylvan and I don't want each faction to play the same. Peeps are just voting based on creatures and not thinking bigger picture.  At least Academy will play differently, I really hope the devs make sure that's the case with Stronghold and Necro too

Seriously? People want a line-up with two elves and another golem (unfortunately this one is in two line-ups)? How boring is that...

I'm beginning to loose interest in faction line-ups because more and more cool units are lost for generic humanoids (which I just HATE in fantasy games). We lost the Unicorn, now we'll loose Manticores... While the Nightmare is controversial I had hoped for it to be somewhat of a substitute for the Unicorn we lost. Well f*ck me in the eye...

Yeah, the voting thing was a bad idea. While you may criticize devs decisions, the line-up chosen by them is a given. But seeing how some nice units are lost at the cost of some sh*tty generic elves with scimitars and cloaks makes one such as me really frustrated.

Oh, and while I like Medusas in Heroes games, gals are one of those units that I'm perfectly fine without...

okaay so I switched from blades to shield and there must be some cheat cause shield didn't jump 10% like I expected . Oh well there's probably some delay on the website or something. I really like faceless and that nightmare concept but in the end I went for Manticore. Faceless already are well established in Ashan and I don't like Medusae. The thing I dislike even more than medusae are TROGS !! Hopefully Shield will rise in the end. I really don't understand all this hype around medusa
