The implications of this message point to an abundance of cheating just like in the Sylvan case. At least devs took the initiative now because the community seemed very like an ostrich with its head underground regarding this issue.
Perhaps, but don't forget that things didn't change much when the repeat votes were taken out last time.
People might truly want blade, or faces, just like they truly wanted fury.
DarkLord said:if u find funny that people want "unicorn" in dungeon (which is Nightmare)
why don't you find funny that they want them in Inferno?
They're called Shadow Unicorn by Ubisoft. Therefore "Unicorn".
They fit Inferno, they don't fit Dungeon. Why I find it funny is because many called the Unicorn in Sylvan vote for "Pony" making fun of it. Now they're wanting Unicorn in Dungeon like it's the coolest thing ever.
Stevie said:I feel that Mechanical creatures have nothing to do with Dungeon. It's a faction based on mind affliction with dreams, visions, manipulation, soul erosion and whatnot. Those elves have to smoke shrooms all day to keep themselves sane, and then you throw in a creature without a soul? No way dude...
They're not mechanical... And they do fit the manipulation theme, the Faceless being behind the scenes...
Errm, Nightmare IN ASHAN, thematically fits to MALASSA, not to Urgash, so Nightmare in Dungeon is logical (it's a Dark Magic thing.
That it should be a warped Unicorn is somewhat silly, though, since Unicorns are generally known for their resistance against harmful magic, so the Nightmares get a nod, but the Shadow Unicorn is *blergh*.
They are constructs like Golems and Gargoyles, it even says it. And manipulated by a Faceless, really? Why don't you give me the real thing to manipulate the enemy like in Heroes VI? So ingenious, remote controlling shadowsteel in combat, brilliant.....
Personaly I don't like Strider at all in Dungeon line-up, same as King's Bounty Dark Unicorn , but reading this golem description I can't but image it like this:
Now, that's a scary tall, gaunt, long-legged... grasshooper.

Considering that Striders have something to do with Faceless, I wouldn't be surprised if their insectoid look is actually Butterfly, after all there are many types of Butterflies and Faceless can be one while Strider can be another type.
And Black Dragon as the ultimate Butterfly of course.
