Poll Question: Dungeon Townscreen Vote
It's time for the Dungeon Townscreen vote - here
There is only one vote, due to the fact that Dungeon cities only are encountered in undergrounds.
FACELESS MEMORIES
Faceless memories: Hidden in the ruins of an ancient Faceless city, the Dark elves have carved deep in the cliffs and unearthed long-forgotten relics laying in the shadows.
STAR OF THE DEEPS
Star of the Deeps: Built on a rich vein of precious resources, this Dark Elf city is illuminated by the light of glowing crystals and the fierce independent spirit of its inhabitants.

I'm going with Faceless Memories. The other one doesn't even look like a town.
By the way, they've finally hidden the percentages.
Edit: That last bit was already reported in the discussion thread.

lol look at the two humanoid figures in the background of star of the deeps
the ceiling of the cave is only two or three times their height
pretty claustrophobic cave for a whole city don't you think, hue hue hue

Faceless Memories by a 100% margin for me. The Dark elves living in a glowing cave or... in the majestic ruins of ancient faceless city? Give me epicness instead of flatness please

1) Ha! Called it - vote between stalactites and floor!
2) Voted for Faceless Memories because I'd like to see a version of the H5 Dungeon done better. Having all the statues facing AWAY from the city makes zero sense to me.
3) Also making zero sense: why would you build a city on TOP of a pile of precious resources instead of, y'know, mining said resources?

I voted Faceless Memories, more sinister and the less glowy gems, the less chances of purple everywhere. I like that the images show it more like subtle dark blue than purple, but I don't want to take risks
Also the stalagmites architecture fits better with the faction IMO.

Faceless Memories for me, primarily because I can't stand the over abundance of glow added to factions these days and I think this choice has the best chance of avoiding them.

I dislike housing inside the rocks and stuff, so I voted Star of the Deeps. It reminds me of H3 Dungeon where all creatures had external housing and just used the cave as shelter.

Hmm... dark, hanging town like in Heores 5 or shinning, probably ground-based town like in Heroes 6?
I don't really know but I my vote goes for Faceless Memories for being once their living place.
However I would prefer both concepts combined.

The concept of faceless city is very one dimensional. The buildings have the same architecture with the same colors. With crystals I can at least hope for more colors rather than just purple/blue, as well as a more diverse dwellings architecture.

I really can't see why they can't have both: the variety from above and below. Not many other towns can have that look, so they could go for it.
But, if I have to choose, I'd go with the stalactites. Haven is on the floor, Stronghold might be on the floor (this is the desert faction, Ranaar, right? So, no jungle or steppe background, so I wager ground based), Necropolis might be on spires like H5, or on the ground like H3/6... I'd like for it to not be on the floor/ground like the others. So, Faceless Memories, I suppose.
I find it strange though, because these "faceless memories" are more related to H5's town look, which by that time it seems the DE have all forgot about the Faceless. Some memories, right?

It's Sahaar actually.
We have:
- Steppes of Ranaar plains (HoMM5)
- Jungles of Pao Kai archipelago (HoMM6)
- Sands of Sahaar desert (HoMM7)

So it is the desert based, but I gave it the wrong name. Should have realized that Sahaar is just a mangling of Sahara; serves me right for not fact checking before I post. Still, my point stands: If they are desert based, it'd be a lot more flat than craggy. So, again, the more visually distinct one would be the one not on the ground.

Buildings? What buildings? All I see is a very low cave with some blue glowing crystals. I can't see how that can turn into anything workable, so I have to go with the H5 style 100 %.
