Problem with spells from ToE
When playing custum maps in Tribes of the East I noticed a problem with mages guild. When you play a map that was added in ToE everything is fine, but when you play one from Hammers of Fate or vanilla, new spells (from ToE) don't appear in the mages guild. I tried it on several maps with several mages guilds; spells like Arcane Crystal, Deep Freeze or Sorrow will not appear among the vanilla spells on those maps.
Any ideas how to fix it?

Open the maps in map editor and add the tote spells

Is there any way to open original maps in the editor? Cause I can find only some generated maps (in which the problem does not appear).
UPDATE: Found all the map files here: http://www.heroesofmightandmagic.com/heroes5/original_maps.shtml
I opened the old maps in editor and checked all the spells in map properties. Now spells like Arcane Crystal or Deep Freeze finally apprear in the mages guild!

Hello
In addition to the question linked to the use of TotE spells I would like to understand thwo things regarding the edition of original maps.
1- How can I set up another main objective for an original map?
Here is my concern : I'm very unhappy when, after some hours playing with an original map which main objective is "find tears of Asha", the game ends as soon as the artifact is brought to a town!
(I would like to change the map's objective to "free for all" in order to actually build the Asha building and continue to fight)
Other concern : I fear the "Asha's tears" artifact is always hidden at the same place.
2- Can anyone confirm that there is no random process to hide Asha's tear in various location every time a same map is played?

This is up to the mapmaker, the mapmaker can designate multiple locations or one location, it can also set a radius around the entry in which it appears, the radius can be so big it contains the entire map floor.

Thank you for the response Magnomagus.
So it simply rely on how the map has be designed! I could have guess that if I could play more. Actually the last two maps I've played where Ubival's made and I fear that these kind of maps haven't been designed to be replayable (ie. Asha's tears are always in the same place).
But what about my first question? Is it possible to change a map main objective in order to avoid the end of a game as soon as Asha's tears have been found?
I would love to read that there is a solution to fix this. It's so fun to be rewarded by Asha's building bonuses in order to defeat all foes! =)

Sorry for late reply, answer is yes, but you need to learn to use the editor, editor documentation folder -> editor theory.pdf describes how to set up objectives
