Eh, not exactly, but something like that. Long hair, pretty face, armor, robes; even the Blood Monster had this weird robe kilt thing (I don't know the name of that garment, but most guys wouldn't wear that unless they have some fancy aristocracy deal) even though it said they "abandoned the pretense of aristocracy". But, hopefully Ubi gives in and makes an actual Blood Monster and not a Blood "I have claws, rar, I am a monster".

It was the closest to aristocratic Vampire artwork from Ashan that I found
I believe that "abandoned the pretense of aristocracy" was in regards to their manners, not clothing, - you know, an aristocrat is more than just fancy hairstyle ^_^ While the clothing certainly looks like aristocrat's, the devil's in details - this clothing has blood stains, is very slovenly etc.

Personally, I like the idea of a vampire having very regal movement and stature by default, and then their attack animation is a complete tone shift into savage and feral. Kinda like if you went to a fancy dinner party but the host eats like a pig.

I hope for similar. If they are going for a semi-aristocratic look, then the actions should definitely be animalistic and feral in motion.

Vampires can be both, heterosexual and homosexual. Just like people. The fact to not asknowledge or don't want to acknowledge that is disprespectful to gay people ... or not? Idk, I'm not gay so I'm not one to talk, but "Vampires are only heterosexual" looks to me a bit discriminatory statement.
Are there homosexual vampires in Ashan? Raul the Blood monster agrees.

Lets not make the homo vs hetero war in video games ok? It is enough that every day there are propagandas about those things. Keep them out of the gaming world. I have never seen a homosexual vampire in a game and I don't want to.
Some things must never change.

I've seen only one. "Blood Monster". So you perhaps saw it aswell?
But anyway. I agree. I won't go further on this topic.

Yes, please, let's put the topic of vampire sexuality to rest.
On a different note, did the Blood Monster beed the Lady-thing by 1 percent? That was way too close for my taste.

Shows, that the lady was great. It was probably first and last chance of a female vampiress, and most unique. And I was not alone with this opinion of emo blood monster/knight.
To tell the truth, all Veampires are better than original, so there's not much of a loss realy.
But anyway. I don't care. The Grean Dragon does not fly!

The new lich designs were all clear improvements on the original.
The vampire designs not so much, it seems there was less creative freedom involved in the making of those concepts.

Well I just completely disagree. If there was anything emo in that line-up, it was 100 % the female vampire, and for me, getting her would have completely ruined Necropolis and gone against everything we've worked for when we've advocated for a more mythology-based approach to the game. Because what other than a female vampire symbolizes the soul of the neo-goth-Twilight-slash-whatever movement?

Actually, female Vampires came long before that-garbage-book. At least in Castlevania. Other fantasy books too used them.
I don't know why Night lady would have ruined Necropolis. Maybe for some people, because "we" is a very... limited summarizing.
Castlevania said: The female vampires in Castlevania have nothing in common with the Ubisoft design. They were more like ladies in ballroom dresses until you piss them off and they become monsters and eat you as a bat-slash-demon-slash-girl.
Please, next time read my posts carefully. I said "female Vampires came long before that-garbage-book".
Also, next time you say "they have nothing in common", remember Stella.

No matter how temped one could become by the idea of a female vamp, once more you are right, Alci.
And -because one can never stop dreaming- maybe Ubidon't could try to implement sth like the "Blaahhh!" into the BM's battle audio...

Vampires are most likely a-sexual. They're dead, reborn to Mother Namtaru through her venom and have no emotions. Love and lust are emotions, so they don't apply to Vampires. They might feign it, to get a fresh container of blood to drink, of course.
