Clan War
Currently playing the Armageddon's Blade campaigns and I have stopped at Festival of Life. The third scenario, Clan War, where Kilgor has to attack all three rival clans.
I have tried several times, but it is frustrating to complete this scenario. Any advice you can offer?

What skills your Kilgor and others have? Do you build them in previous scenario(stat boosters, leveling up, mage guild)?
This mission requires you to secure all towns with taverns, cutting enemy with number of heroes. In underworld is dungeon town with town portal spell.
You have to be fast. Both Kilgor and Gurnission need equal army to attack AI from both sides.

Well, one thing is, you should have 4 high level heroes from previous scenario. I would suggest picking artillery with every one of them if you get the chance. Also, learn any spels you can, pick at least one magic school too.
Now, when you have high level heroes, you need some army. There is enough army around. Consider taking dwellings/hives. The two way portal is a path between any clan. There are 2 garrisons, one to each clan near you. There is also a way into middle area, with a lot of good things.
Two ways of playing worked for me. One is: you rush one or two AI's with ballista and fodder, which will start a tough struggle. You should gain more and more towns if you are good eough. Exploit ballista, hopefully with expert slow, to destroy anything AI can have week 1.
Second way is: gather almost all the army you can get in first one or two days, leave just 7 units on each of your weaker heroes (and ballistas). Let them clear your starting area. Go west with your main hero, break into middle area(I don't remember exactly, but can be tough), kill dragons guarding one or two behemot dwellings and focus on getting a big behemot powerstack. Then go into AI areas week 2, with big army.
There are some nice things around, so you may want to keep last AI alive in its last town when you visit pyramids and power ups.

Well, why don't you cheat xD.
Anyway, I used to play Festival Of Life only until the second part of the campaign. LOL, you are a sort of super-hero if you could finish it until the 3rd one. Well, the advice is to try again to play in the part 1, and 2, and make your heroes as great as you can (Get how much experience, and even war machines, artifacts) you can.

Uploading a save from end of first or second scenario would work.
I'm not really surprised by the coclusion though...

Sorry for the late reply.
Anyway, all heroes are level 20 (as much as the previous scenario, Taming of the Wild, allows), some have Wisdom, Air and Earth Magic skills, others have Pathfinding, Logistics, Offense, Artillery and Leadership skills.
So, what can be done, actually? Rush in and play offensive to the core, have two attack and two stand guard or acquire armies and be defensive until the right moment?

Well, yes, you are against 3 enemies, if you don't rush them they can outgrow you.
The question is where you want to rush. Either middle area with behemot dwells or one of AI areas. You should be safe for a week or two, except for the portal. Which is why you need to leave some army and either a powerful spelcaster or ballista user(or both) to deal with attackers in week 1 or week 2. By that time you should have enough army to smash AI with ease.

Maximize the Heroes you have in the two previous maps; that means visiting all stat boosters (including those in your towns) and try to acquire all spells available to you.
Keep in mind that it's a FFA, so the three AI enemies are also fighting eachother. As you explore the map, try to exploit weaknesses but also keep tabs on who's the strongest opponent from time to time and make life difficult for especially that opponent. But with each AI player defeated, there is less for the other AI players to focus on, so they may come for you instead. Divide and conquer.

That's being pretty hard to choice...
I used to stand and defend, but at both, put the most powerfull hero (after gaining troops, and I do that fast), and sort of ambush them.
I don't know how much hard is it in the third part, but sure that I don't want to find out

Sitting in town and defending it is a perfect strategy to lose a game vs AI, which can and will eventually outgrow you.
And I don't see why you comment here if you are not familiar with the map at all. You have 3 enemies with more or less easy access to your town, you can't hope to "ambush" them efficiently enough to win.

AI can hit you from each side. In campaign we are barbarians, which means powerful strike thanks to high attack skill points, offense, archery, artillery, tactics is nice to have.
My Kilgor had:
Offense, Archery, Artillery, Wisom, Earth and Air Magic, Logistics and Inteligence. Also Diplomancy help a lot in this map.

Well, I used to get the Capitol, and Castle first, then the other presequite buildings. After that, the building dwellings would be not derranjed, I say that I gain troops and money fast, and on a big quantity, but the money flows though my hands like water .
Then, that 'ambush' that means attacking theyr castles when all theyr troops are gone, or attacking them when they don't expect and that's a bit later, because I have that big money, and could build the Castle, and everything is going be fine then. I take them 1 by 1. Anyway, I am familiar with the 1st and 2nd level, still don't want to try the 3rd, because I am still retraining now. One more day, and gonna try it
