Thanks Griffin!
Also some big issue with March of the Golems:
All golems under hero's command have their Speed and Initiative increased by +2. Iron & Steel Golems also have their initiative incrased by 2.
The red line can be removed, the first sentence carry all the info required.

I don't know where you got that description but that's not the one in game...

dredknight said: Some text issues:
- Eternal servitude - In the main description it is written that the skeletons gained come from knowledge, while in the sub-description the formula for skeletons gained is based on Hero Level. Which one is correct ? What is the real formula?
Chilling bones - "The hero gains +2 Defense and all undead troops under the hero's control are enchanced with Ice enchancements."
The taughtology is really not necessary, it can be any of those:
"The hero gains +2 Defense and all undead troops under the hero's control are /imbued with/shielded by/ Ice enchancements."
Banshee howl - starts with "Grants a hero an ability to call upon death itself..." it should be "The hero is granted an ability to call..."
====================================================================
Let me know which of the above ( and the post before) are going to be changed so I can make the necessary changes too.
Eternal Servitude: What's equal to knowledge is the additional weekly skeletons raised after hero level 20. Advanced text gives the formula for the hitpoints raised after each combat.
Chilling Bones: It says "enhanced" with "enchantments"... perfectly fine.
Banshee Howl: Current desc is perfectly fine. Your suggestion is fine too, the only difference being the verb structure; current is transitive form, yours is intransitive.

agreed on all points except the golem one.
I got RC8 fresh installed, here is a shot of it:
Also on "Hold the line skill" - "Increases hero's Defense by +2 and..."
"+" should be removed.

Gosh.. sorry. Completely my mistake.
I wanted to refer to the other part of the text.
All golems under hero's command have their Speed and Initiative increased by +2. Iron & Steel Golems also have their initiative increased by 2.
Does this mean that Iron & Steel golems get +4 initiative and +2 speed total?

I think i also like to keep the critical strike icon in place because it matches avenging strike, for example it can be called:
bloodlust - increases attack by +1 for every point of luck.
i cannot make initiative boosts.
@Forsberg: Ring of war machine affinity
Critical Strike is cool for a starter as it makes all heros starting with the skill unquestionably useful and able to branch out equally. (AWESOME!!!) Could we have the same with scholar? I really would never want to start with it...Eagle Eye seems like a better starting option for branching.

Maybe AI does not understand this well.
Playing now, AI is attacking me in siege.
All enemy stacks are outside my castle, my few troops are so far way from them.
AI casted frenzy in its Griffins just before they attacked his fellows peasants.

The bug with Legion artifacts on garrisoned city governors not giving extra troops seems to be still present (extra troops come from governance and the number of external dwellings). However, I have loaded an old game - do I need to start a new one?

Thanks. And 3 questions.
1. Let's say I have a second Academy town with a governor with an artifact that gives some lvl 4 troops. Do I need to keep at least one mage in his army? In such cases usually I give the governor one low level troop, e.g. a gargoyle or a stack from another alignment.
2. According to the description, only the best Legion artifact has an effect. However, one artifact (Goose?) gives money instead of troops. May I use it together with an artifact which gives creatures?
3. I guess the "bag of gold" artifact may be used together with any Legion artifact. Am I right?

So what about my questions about campaign heroes? Arantir, for example, doesn't have his unique ability Avatar of Death.

When building a map, you can already add it on a scroll and it works perfectly fine. This also works for some other skills (e.g. Dark Ritual)

When going through game mechanics files I've stumbled upon "uber" spells (chain lightning and meteor shower). What exactly are they?
