Well, you can always cheat... I've been #Give HeroSkill-ing Summoning Magic to my Rangers as skill #7 so I can at least throw some fire walls...

Ok, how/where? Just got this mod this weekend and browsing 200+ pages for that info is a bit excessive.

So far I'm ejoying it but i miss some stuff like faction-specific perks and specialized crazy strats(like the mentioned imbued tripple ballista with destructive magic) but enjoying much of the added other stuff.

Not one to care for balance honestly, just want to come up with silly builds. Also, why can't wardens and druids get the favoured enemy tree? Makes two entire buildings useless for them (unless they turn to governing and even then...)

Actually if you also want to change the skillwheel it is not.

Technically impossible, but also not desired since those classes are more powerful using their turns for spellcasting so for them the base skill is useless.

Av brotherhood & sparkling fountain give replacement bonuses to these classes (not dependant on governance)

@Magno when editing files in the *.pak does it matter if the name of the files are with capitals or not ?

For example:
data/Text/Game/Scripts/TownPortal/TM_End_or_Tele.txt

can it be written like this
data/Text/Game/Scripts/townportal/tm_end_or_tele.txt

Thanks Olorin .

If you want to translate the mod you need to do two things.

1.  Translate the game - If there is a Spanish version of tribes of the east most of the stuff is done for you. Just install that version + patch of the game.
If not:
- go to game folder/data.
- Extract the text.pak file.
- Open all files and translate what is inside.
- when ready zip the new content to text-sp.pak and put it in the data folder.

2. Translate the mod. Go to Heroes Folder/Data and extract MMH55-Texts-EN.pak

Just open all files and translate the content in Spanish then zip it back to MMH55-Texts-SP.pak for example. Place in in data folder instead the english one and you are ready.

Before you go on full scale translation make sure it is working.
- Find a file you konw what it correspond to in the game.
- translate it
- zip it to something.pak and put it back in data folder.
- open the game and check if the translation is working.

I advise people to test this because sometimes there are issues with fonts.

Garments of the Saint are currently not working (Ring of Life here, since second and third level can't be resurrected).  I had at least 6 mana at the end of the battle, and I lost gremlins, yet none were resurrected.  And yes, the ring was equipped.

Those artifacts have never failed to work for me, just a temporary anomaly or something overlooked.

Does it only resurrect the first stack?  And if the first stack is only 1 unit and dies, then it might not resurrect because that would be 100%.

by integration I guess every single creature from NCF needs to be described by lua code and thus embedded in the mod? This include creature upgrade chains...

What is the way hex editing impact ncf?
