Oh, thank you so much! I didn't even know anything about Governor system introduced in 5.5 - I missed it somehow. Your tips will be very useful, i'll try to play game right now!

Usually I have big problems with gold (i kinda lied - i set first difficulty to Hard to not get ridiculous amount of resources) and that's why i'm unable to clear map quickly. Sometimes i lose many creatures and when approaching enemy town my army is weaker than it should be.

@magnogamus I'll look to settings.pak but usually i'm fine with neutral stacks.

@Magno some thoughts on the creature pane.
I made a parsing script that goes through the XDB files taken from the game. If any day you decide to make a change, just drop down a line the name of the changed creatures so I can exchange the XDBs inside. It is that easy!

All faction stats for the creatures are dynamically calculated so if any creature is changed it will immediately apply to the faction stats.

After playing the mod for a few days I decided to make myself a useful Member of the Heroes Community! How? Well at least as an idea I want to make a Submod for this one with the Unique Hero Models.

Problem is though (not that I can't make the submod thankfully ) but taking permission to use the models since the post is quite old and I'm not ever sure I can get it. I have made some of the changes on my game for my better personal experience but if I can and people would be interested I could do the whole thing.

Can Frenzy be excluded from Whip Strike? 99% of times Shadow Mistress is the closest enemy to a frenzied creature.

Wait!... there actually was already a unique hero models but it ran into trouble because of new classes impossible to have melee animations, so be warned and always test model immediately!

@strigvir: good point, it is hardcoded but the melee upgrade can better have hexing attack. I'm afraid the ranged one has to go without.

It turned out that in my case the solution for problem with washed out textures was to simply switch from integrated graphics card to the actual one in nVidia control panel in case anyone will face similar problem in future, while playing on a laptop.

Yeah for example Giovanni,he shoots an eldritvh arrow with the attack of his original model and I've been trying to get the demon lord melee animation (which I think I managed to get at some point?Or was it without your mod that it worked?)but couldn't.

I'll probably add them regardless since myself, before your mod was released I used the Unique Hero Models and the Working Campaign Heroes on Custom Games and never had a problem with a few clunky animations. I guess you wanted to keep a high standard for your mod and heroes modding is a real pain but since I 100% surely will make one for myself I'll just share it and everyone who doesn't mind can use it. Would this be a problem to you?

That's really nice, really effective manual. Perhaps there could be some info about which spells spellcasters casts as well as info about magic part of the game information and equation.

Also, a question, seems to me that black dragon’s immunity to magic is some sort of handicap rather than advantage. Couldn’t they have some sort of self-regenerating health mechanism, or significantly higher stats then all other T7 creatures, or, just like titans, immunity to mind control, or, perhaps they should have seduction ability, just like succubus seducer, which would be consistent not only with Malassa’s influence but also with the way dragons are depicted in other narrative traditions.

@magnomagus Ok, I think I've got a few other questions if you don't mind:
1) We've got Shantiri disks and Obelisks. I've managed to visit all of the Shantriri disks in one of my games and after a big fight I got my hands on piece of forgotten hero set (was it boots?) which is a fine reward for visiting lots of those disks. But in the few other games when I was able to visit all the Obelisks I got only boots of travel or piece of legion set. I was actually shocked by amount of enemies I had to fight to get a low tier item instead of getting the Tear of Asha.
Actually I can imagine that maybe in a multiplayer match, the race to visit all the Obelisks may be quitte annoying (or too random? or maybe being a gimmick to win an unwinnable game against more skilled oponent?), but isn't it too much of a trouble to get a random item? I don't know about Shantiri disks, but for Obelisks the rewards aren't that great.
Maybe I'm missing something like Obelisks rewards scaling on their number on the map OR I was just unlucky with my rewards, so can you give us a little bit of your insight about the whole Shantiri/Obelisks system?
2) There's the "of the Prophet" set, which IMO is a good addition to the low tier artifacts group, but it's set bonus feels like unreachable. In my last 15 games on ARMG maps only once I have worn more than ONE of the Prophet items at the same time. They aren't bad, they're just outclassed by lots of other items. At the same time the whole set doesn't have any bonus for wearing less than full set. Wouldn't it be good to have some kind of small bonus for wearing 3-4 items from this set?
3) If my memory serves me right, there was a Week which reduced the amount of available city dwellers by half. I haven't seen it for a long time. First of all, I'd like to say that I don't miss it. Like at all. It's so great without it. So I'd like to confirm whether it's intended change or just me being lucky in my Heroes 5.5 journey.
4) I can't say I'm good enough to freely speculate on the balance stuff in any Heroes, so can you give us another piece of insight about the Logistics (and Estates) talents this time? While it was barely manageable in the classical Heroes 5 without picking Logistics talent, right now it feels like it is mandatory to have both Logistics and Estates for the main hero (and governor ofcourse). I'm not asking this because of the simple curiousity, but because I kind of feel like if I won't have Logistics and Estates for my main hero the game will be lost for me (unless I'm using Raise of Dead or another gimmick this game).

@Skeggy: Black dragons already have the best stats of any T7 creature, they are not underpowered, I'm more inclined to think red dragons have a tiny edge since they got IMC.

@kora:
1. The system is described in detail in ARMG manual pdf,
2. I see your point but this doesn't bother me, I don't like combos of only 2 artifacts very much.
3. This was removed on purpose.
4. I would remove the logistics skill and add a little movement per hero level if I had to redesign the game. But this is not possible.

Still, I just don’t see how do you compute black dragon’s immunity to magic as something positive and compare it with other T7 creatures that can be healed or resurrected, or …
Perhaps, if you don’t like previously mentioned possibilities, why not make it 50% magic proof for damaging spells only, like pit fiend, or something on that trail.

Immunity to destructive and dark is hardly a bad thing and dungeon is not known for its buffs either. Besides, non magic immune blackies would be heresy.

Doesn't <BaseHeroMovement> affect that? I absolutely love logistics but it was not handled well in H5. It is such a must that it's not even funny.

Yeah sorry that is what I meant. It might not scale with levels but it should still be an acceptable compromise for balanced play.

And yes, first aid heals blackies just fine.

Yes, but still, tent cannot resurrect if the whole stack is perished. Can that be considered as a drawback that somehow needs to be righted?
