UPDATE RC9b
-Integrated Mapmixer made by cichy to RC9b installation, added shortcut to startmenu.
-Added mapmixer section to ARMG manual to explain in detail all checkboxes. Same explanation (but with more screenshots) will appear on moddb somewhere in next 24hours.
-Fixed issues with new Combat UI, improved some textures (thanks ThGryphn).
-Improved AI aggressiveness, AI aggressiveness improves with difficulty level.
-Added optional feature to lower resources on all difficulty levels by -10,-10,-5,-5,-5,-5,-10000
-Fixed threat level txt on ship battle sites.
-Czech and German Dialogs have been fixed and reuploaded in addon section.

The AI was never any good at artifact shopping and also pretty much never visited artifact merchants on the map. The AI is also not good at making an optimal slotmix, so the new backpack artifacts work well for them.
In terms of gameplay this has no negative impact on the AI, it is just that the human players cannot get more than one + the ones on the map (which is something I prefer to keep exploration necessary)

Concerning mapmixer, on
http://www.maps4heroes.com/heroes5/maps.php?keywords=dragon+hill&type=&size=&sort=2 ,
there are three versions of the “Dragon Hill” map from the same author, fiur.
First two, one for Heroes 5 original and one for Heroes 5 Hammers of Fate convert artifacts and monsters with no problem, while third one “Dragon Hill tote” has very unusual problems with converting artefacts. Monster part is ok but some converted artefacts are behaving strange.
Some of the converted artefacts doesn’t have name
And when hero tries to pick it up, it says that it can’t take artefact.
Since this is only one from the three version that has problem, and only one so far, it is more than likely that it’s because of some script that map has.

Spice up black/red dragons
I know we've balanced the heck out of everything. This is just an idea to add some spice to Dungeon...
The thing I don't like right now about current balancing is Emerald/Crystals are a tad better than Red/Blacks because of their initiative and superior Sylvan might heroes. It just doesn't seem right that sissy elves have an equal/better unit to the legendary Black Dragon.
Also, most people take Red over Black Dragons for the initiative point and Vampirism. Black Dragons are just an edge case against destruction/dark end game heroes.
In addition to their magic immunity, I'd like to see Black Dragons get a Stormwind "mini" effect... maybe just lower the initiative of opposing flying units by 10% (without the speed penalty). This would allow Black Dragons to better compete with the higher initiative 7th level units, and make the debate more interesting between Red and Black. Also, I'd pump Red Dragon damage stat to 45-70 to balance the additional Black dragon ability.
Yes, I know I'm going to get "Black and Red Dragons are Fine" I guess its a flavor thing for me more than a balance thing.

This is recommended, but for singleplayer not absolutely necessary, the editor creates smaller islands. It is therefore also highly recommended when generating water maps in editor not to raise experience setting above 3, since 4 needs large zones 6000+.
@Azalen: the speed of the dragons needs to be medium since the faction as a whole already has enough high speed creatures walking to the other side of the battlefield.

Yeah, that's why I think the answer is not to pump Black Dragon initiative, but instead lower the initiative of a subset of the opponent's units (flying units). It would give you a reason to select Black over Red in the normal case.
Just want to see Black Dragons be "King of the Dragons" again.

The black dragons have 10% more damage, which is of equal value to 10% more initiative, so in the comparison you can leave out those 2 factors. This is only about +8% durability+total immunity vs IMC+incinerate

@Magno, some weird questions for you.
Is it possible to modify behavior of the AI during the game?
For example can the offensive/defensive attitude be changed during the game from the scripts?
Is it possible to drop a log what the AI and the players do each turn ?
Somehow drop info on what is been built and does the hero moves (and where gemetrically or what he picks etc..) or does he buy army? It is not necessary to be text. it could be just some IDs or numbers.
