I got a question about NCF MapMixer.

What if a user wants to increase the ratio between default and neutral creatures? Can you set "Neutral reduction" to 0 for a higher result chance?

Hi, I have a little question about "power ratio" :

Does the ratio apply to all creatures or only to specific stacks?

I usually find that the strength of the monsters of mines around the castles are not balanced with creatures guarding doors or other treasures and artefacts, specially with "very strong monsters", in impossible mod.

I had a look in the new tamplates for RMG but it is impossible to specify a value "strenght" for mines or other stacks of creatures.

1. yes if you switch to the old exe file.
2. same AI as Quantomas AI31j with some extra scripted options, No LAN
3. no, but some gameplay elements (Town conversion/governance etc) can be switched off.
4. everything in h55 is very well balanced.
5. subjective, just check for yourself you can install and uninstall it in less than a minute.

@dredknight: I have to admit I do not fully understand that option.

@dace: mines are not regulated by templates or mapmixer. afaik the RMG sets ore and wood to easiest possible, the other 4 somewhere around minor/major artifact guard and gold around relic artifact guard.

@Magno, not sure if you checked the NCF moddb page but it seems the tutorial that regards MMH55 is also replicated on your side in tutorials. I just noticed that.

formula is following (last one was wrong): chance to place creatures without faction = 1 / ((townsCount + 1) * (creaNeutralReduction + 1))
so if you set it to 0 it will be 1/9

Actually it swap only T4 - T7 dwellings.
Default chances are 50% for T4 and 50% for T5.

Every player will have same high tier dwellings.
(for example: one T4; if two per player, then: one T5 and one T4 (or T4 and T4) .....)
If non player town has(link) dwellings, then it's as for players dwellings (except it's separate list)

example:
- map has 4 players towns and 4 non players towns
- every town has 2 linked dwellings
- possible result: 4 * (T4 and T5) + 4 * (T4 and T4)

if you ask about mapmixer, then "power ratio" affect all creatures, which are swapped

Yes, it's there only if you want to replay map more times.

@magomagnus - thanx again, I will try to use Random Map generator for my with friend games, if it will fail (we want to play 2x2 , we against PC players, or against each other with the 1 PC player per team), and then If it will fail, I will try to use this "Heroes 5.5", for now I have a hell no idea how to use this crazy generator and map editor - son of the preacher man program, say that we cannot play on modified maps and default maps - only the one of the is good for 2x2 games .

i was aboat to give up on the game but then i thought mybe this time someone whould know how to fix this:
whenever i get in a game to somewhere between mounth 3-4 the game crash
ive tried:
- loading to a few days back but still crashed on the same day
- reinstalling a few times and even tried to reinstall game on a pirated virsin and it still didnt worked
- ive tried more then 20 games and in all of them the game crashes around mounth 3-4

notes:
- im always playing in really big maps(thets how i like it)
- i dont have any ather mod
- i really dont care if i lose saves as long it will work good

please help

Hello Twidel!

Make sure you use MMH55_64.exe file to launch the game.
The default exe file has memory limitations and big maps require a lot of it.

i always using the same MMH5(64bit) shortcut but when i cheack thro tesk manager it shows its a 32bit app
someone here already told me thet its fine tho

i don't know why but still i can feel i will play this mod. Actually i like complex things in everything and every game but this time i feel bored. Ideas and implementation is amazing but sadly still i didn't like it

How can I convert H5 and HOF map to TOE so I can play them with H5.5 mod?

When I open them in H5 TOE map editor it give an error.
