First, disable simultaneos turns.
Second try 2 player game over Evolve to see if the network is not doing any harm.

Sim turns are on , we play duel , random maps thru utily exe file and play thru normal file. I would like to play more but friend is too busy atm .. And i didnt encounter any bugs so far, playing is fun its better than rpe

A general (unrelated) notification. In hotseat/LAN mode scripts always need to be activated on the map, even if you are playing in hotseat ALONE!.

I dunno if that is my issue, or what (I play solo vs. AI on usually multiplayer maps), but several scripts still don't work for me-most notably combo artifacts (yes, I got the console running and tried that command you suggested last month, magno, it said "Nothing was wrong"), but also resource ones such as the Golden Goose and Endless Bags of Gold (I should have gotten over 3,000 extra gold last turn, only got c. 170).

@Elessar: could you try something for me, remove all your heroes from town garrisons (if there are any inside them) and then look if it starts working again?

I suppose steam version is the latest -3.01. If it is you can install straight on top of it.

Encountering some problems playing with a friend.
MMH55.exe — "RMG map load failed."
MMH55_64.exe — "RMG map load failed."
MMH55_Utility.exe — RMG maps start normally, but when buying a hero from fortress game crashes for the other player. Simultaneous turns made no difference to the crash.

Yes, and that happens on the RMG maps that came with the mod too, not on the generated maps only.

Map created via MMH55_Editor.exe loaded with the game client or with skype didn't make a difference on MMH55_64.exe, still RMG Map load failed. The only thing we forgot to do in the guide was delete index.bin and that didn't help either.

After deleting the index.bin however, game stopped crashing on MMH55_Utility.exe when buying a hero from fortress. So we'll try to play from that exe and see if everything works. Sad for no 8 skills though.

After playing the first few missions of the first campaign i like the skills (though frankly i don't know what a lot of them are) and i like the item sets.

But it looks like 'convert building to your faction' doesn't work. I click 'ok' on undead buildings to convert them, but nothing happens.

Second playing on Hard difficulty (easy seemed too easy) most things are do-able, but the forces defending Abandoned Mines are ridiculously huge in numbers and quality of troops. They need greatly reduced in numbers or else the abandoned mines might as well not be in the game at all as it will never be possible to take them. Even with Isabel at level 22, with a strong army with 30 odd archangels, 500 paladins, 3.5k Conscripts etc and a Teleport assault skill plus lots of items to buff her stats its impossible to take any abandoned mine.

@Dunadd: you cannot convert dwellings if the conversion limit is reached. The campaign maps were not created for town/dwelling conversion so that may be the case.

The neutrals in early campaign missions are quite easy, therefore the default setting for abandoned mines may seem tough in comparison, but experienced players can handle them.

Neutral stack sizes for all battle sites and abandoned mines can be adjusted with 7zip in H55-Settings.pak

Hi,

after having seen that Heroes 5.5 exists, I bought Heroes V with ToE expansion on GOG plus installed the 5.5 Mod File. Unfortunately I could not start the game. First I got four error messages on .dll files missing (granny2.dll, libcurl.dll, ubistats.dll and fmod.dll). I copied all of them to the system32 folder and sysWOW64 folder. Now I get a message telling me that procedural point in "_GrannyEvaluateCurveAtT@20" is missing in */MMH55_64.exe.

I already tried to uninstall and reinstall the mod, but with same result. Also it does not make a difference if I try to run 64 bit version or normal.

OS is Windows 10. Launching as admin does not help, compatibility modus with Win xp oder Windows 7 does not help.

Do you have any idea what I could do to be able to run the Heroes 5.5 version? Heroes V ToE runs just fine, I only receive the error message if I want to open Heroes 5.5
