i'm voting for stronghold, i'm hyped about getting to actually use their kit in game as it looks promising, even though the behemoth looks like a furious monkey boi.

I would prefer to see Necro and Sylvan. Necropolis because I'm
interested in the new vampire and lich, also I wanna see if the Lamasu will look as terrible in-game as it does on the website.
Sylvan because I want to know if the models are improved in-game.

Voted Sylvan. The other three factions I don't care much for, so either can win. A bit disappointed to see that if this poll is representative, Necro and Dungeon will be chosen.
PS: New Lich looks awesome. Remove the green-glowing eyes, and it would be 10/10.

Ha! I knew there would be another Beta  .
It's also good to see that people can join waiting list as well.
Well I really want to see the Dungeon win this! Even though I voted for Blades and would be also happy with Shield, still after thinking about it - this line up is quite diverse.
We know little about their gameplay and nothing about their looks so I really wish they win. As for second Faction - I would not mind seeing any of them. Sylvan looks lovely overall, Necro has always been one of my favourites, and although I never liked Stonghold - this time around its one of the best factions for me, just behind Academy.
So, please vote Dungeon - just imagine Titans fighting Black Dragons for the first time in many years !!

While nice in a general sense, it's not the racial hatred they held for eachother back in Heroes3.

Was it specifically racial hatred? I thought it was tied to how they were the top units of the rival Wizard and Warlock factions in H2, their animosity sticking even after "Wizard vs. Warlock" became less of a thing in subsequent instalments...

The funny thing is, in MM7 (only one I played) where you find titans you will also find dragons, as if they are friends.

Well, not sure what the origin was, but Black Dragons and Titans always dealt +50% damage to eachother due to their mutual hatred. Just like Angels and Devils did, and Genies and Efreetis (this one is actually odd, since Genies are tier 5 while Efreetis are tier 6).

Same thing is on Dragonsand desert in MM6, when Titans and Dragons live together... but in both cases it probably because both creatures are the most dangerous on continents and they were placed there by developers to increase map difficult.

So these two powerhouses with no prior connection were put together in the same area by the devs. That seems like the perfect conditions for breeding hate to me. Just take a look at what happened in Africa after the colonial powers drew nonsensical borders grouping different ethnicities in one country.

I am going to wait a bit before deciding for a faction. Right now, i am thinking that maybe we should vote for the Faction we wish to find bugs in.
In that regard, my vote will go to either Sylvan which has not been in the game since Heroes V and the racial is completely new so it could need some work and balancing.
The second option will be the Dungeon so if we need to voice some reworking or fixing we can have the time to do so.
Stronghold was seen and was also playable so tweaks and works has been done to it and also it was shown much love so i am not overly worried.
Neither will i place my hopes on Necropolis just to see the new models. But i would like to see how necromancy work.
So, as of now, i am thinking Sylvan>Dungeon>Necropolis>Stronghold
Again, this is not based on personal preference but mostly on my opinion on what we should as a community try to see if it needs fixing or not. I know i can't force or influence your personal opinion but this is my share on the matter

Interesting community results so far. So Dungeon leads over Necropolis and Stronghold with its comeback Behemoth is at the bottom of the poll. Problem is that these percentages are not really representative, but should major differences be expected? I doubt it.

the origin is an in-joke, it's because players of Heroes 2 constantly disputed whether the Black Dragons or the Titans were the best creature in the game, so the rivalry was made real in Heroes 3 lol
