Replace strider with lurker
I have heard that lurker is actually going to be a warfare unit. Why not replacing their places? After all, strider would make sense to act as a ballista (just put laser eyes to shoot). Lurker is more iconic here. The tradeoff would be that lurker would have to be a melee flyer, since being a shooter in elite is actually overused. Though it could have the effect of H4's evil eyes, to cast random debuff spells.
It is just a bit disappointing the lurker has been reduced to warfare, just as unicorn serves only as a mount.

If you want to mod out  anything in favour of Shadow Lurker, it should be one of core Elves... althrough Stalker looks to good (for now) to be left out and Assassin is a melee unit.

Yea I thought I read this wrong lol. Stalker can be replaced by evil eye. And like a chimera unit to replace the strider or give us the manticore back. And give it the grolls ability and let it shoot spikes from its tail at enemies being attacked close by ( like ranged manticore from age of myths)

Hm, but you can see many aren't impressed a mechanical creature based of Slanderman is in Dungeon. As an unit.
Besides, we can't say we can mod everything out, for not everyone has modding knowledge.

Nah. Make the Assassin use shade weapons/animations and skills/stats and replace the assassin with the Lurker. I quite like the strider myself.

Yeah, well gryphons are core now too. I think this actually turned out better than it could have to be quite honest.

Is it really too much to ask that people wait until the proper, in-motion, three-dimensional model is released to the site? We don't even know all of its abilities yet. People here are so quick to judge and dismiss.

They don't like the visual appearance. Doubt the 3D model would impress them, either.
