install problems
Herry, thx for your CoC post.
I had these Fatal Error you spoke of several times. (the error after the downloads from MODDB.COM, although i had some help (still have) there the game wouldn't run)
So i was pleased to see there was another possibility !
I downloaded all (>MEGA) and followed al your instructions, to be sure, here is the way i performed the istall:
1-Installed the CoC 1083 full setup.exe and the 5 bin files.
2-Aim Sway fix.
3-patch 1.0.84
4-patch 1.0.85
5-patch 1.0.9
6-OWR3 Lite for CoC
7-DX_10_11_scopes
I own a original pc-DVD copy of the game (v.1.6.02)
My specs are: ASUS Sabertooth X79 / Intel:Core - i7-3820~3.60GHz (liquid cooled) / 32 GB RAM / GeForce GTX 660 - 2Gb / Win7 Pro 64 / 5 SSD's.
Started the game but now i get the win32 error !
(Not a Valid Win32 Application)
Help !?!
Greetz, Walter

Bin files? Those contain the content which you install by using the setup. Did you extract them or something? If you did, reinstall the game, but just run the setup, it will install them.
I'm not sure I perfectly get it. Do you mean that the new version(the official one released, at the link I provided) doesn't work? Also, the aim sway fix and ANY possible fixes go after the patches, not before. Sorry, it's my mistake for not being clear enough. I am pretty sure though, it's not the cause of the Win32 error because that error means there is something with the executable file of the game itself.
Anyways, again, if you extracted the .bin files using some non-standard method(pretty much anything other than the setup), this might have been the problem. But then again, I don't really know, and I'm just guessing.
Disclaimer(just to be sure): I obviously didn't make/help in making this mod.
