Which is the strongest recruitable creature in the whole game?
I know there are some strong neutrals but are there creatures in the class of Azure dragons? And which is the strognest possible recruitable creature you know of? (Lets say with 1000 hp) I can't play the game atm so that's why I can't check for myself. Can you tell us?

Gold dragons are strong I believe but nowhere near azure strength. For recruitable, if they haven't changed their abilities, probably reapers. Then again, cost probably keep their effectiveness at bay...

I think you should define strongest a bit more. I think you meant tier 3 champion units. But what if a unit could be build earlyer and have a bigger impact on the game. Or unbalanced in terms of gold spend.
So far i`ve found the "brute" really amazing. (stronghold core unit).

Strongest in terms of stats. Champions so far sit around 400-500 hp. Are there creatures with 700-800 or even 1000 hp?

As Heroes V phoenix can attest, stats are not the most important factor to define an overwhelming creature. For sure, there should be a creature of that kind, only I bet they will be following Heroes III and IV in their worst and save them to "cherry" expansions.

if you want 1v1 battle heroes 3 style reapers will win because they have the ability to always kill at least one creature if they did at least one hp damage.

That is only significant the less number the stack has. If there's 1 reaper vs 1 Anything, it would win. If there's 10 Reapers vs 10 Anything, it may not win.

Sorry if this is opposing you without thinking..  but why exactly is 1 unit vs. 1 unit labelled "h3 style"?

two heroes with equal stats run several battles of this to average results. For example 1 Ancient Behemoth vs 1 Archangel. Don`t quote me on this I learnt it from these forums dug up some ancient thread.
And you are not opposing me I wrote that Stevie did.

Shantiri titan or gold dragon. The former is a mix between titan and treant(shooter, ridiculous hp, entangle and magical damage boosts their dmg) while the latter is immune to debuffs and has a long breath range that can incapacitate more than one units. I forget which has the highest hp, shantiri titan probably.
