Ashan Games and Maps Chronology
For a while now, I wanted to make a chronology for all games and scenarios taking place in Ashan. I don't know if the list itself will be of use to anyone, but I think it might be a neat thing to have.
Thanks to cheats, I managed to include all the HoMM7 stories on the list as well (by just clicking the "Win Map" button XP). There are some scenarios whose years are unknown (I am especially looking at you, H7 Sylvan Campaign! You are only half-better, H7 Academy campaign! Well, I guess I should be happy that 90% of H7 ,maps included the years) so I had to guess when they took place (they have an = instead of the year number). I had to to the same with some of the maps which took place in the same year.
In any case, if someone notices something wrong, please do tell so I can fix the list

Shades of Darkness campaigns have 10 years between them so Vein's should be 660?
I also think that h6 missioin order is wrong.

Wrong. Well, very wrong.
1) "Battle Cry Freedom" can't happen in 467 YSD, not before Academy's Tale, for Kunyak continued the Revolt after his father's death and the events at Shahibdiya.
2) "The Cup of Thunder" can't happen in 470 YSD, for it recalls the event that ended the Orc Crusades, thus it's ~504 YSD.
3) "Griffin Bane" happened before 564 YSD. Even before Elven Wars.
4) "The Emperor's Will" happened before 564 YSD. Considering that Cate left shortly before these events, it should be ~556 YSD.
5) The order of H6 campaigns is messed up. Look for my script in the lore thread for correct order.
6) Shades of Darkness are 650-660 YSD.
7) Dark Messiah was born in 970 YSD. Given that Kha-Beleth already has the child by the end of vanilla H5, "New Enemies", "The Union", "Temptation" are bound to be 970 YSD. "Temptation" could have even happened during 971-972 YSD by the way. "In search of power" should have "?" mark.
That's all I could find on the first quick read.

dunno, I did not make that one. I found several lists and used one of newer.

Hm, I made these two Orcish Scenario entries before H7 was released and based on a timeline on the net. But now that I think about it, Kunyak was probably not the first rebel but the later one. I will move "Battle Cry Freedom" to 470 (start of Crusades) and "Cup of Thunder" to 504 (end of crusades).

You are right, I completely forgot to put H6 Prologues onto the timeline (I just copied the list). I will put the second map on the year you suggested (with added ~) and the first before it with an ? sign.

From what I understood, "In Search of Power" happens soon after Kha Beleth was defeated at the end of H5 and before it was revealed that he is still alive? I moved it to 470 as the other ones for now.
Thank you both for help I also made some other modifications based on feedback from CH.

As I understand, you revised the dates (again) given feedback from CH, most probably from Avonu. Tricky part: although the "rough" chronology was given by Marzhin himself, 550 YSD can't be the date for the prologue. By the Second Eclipse, Kiril and Anastasya are 17-18 years old (their birthdate is 546 YSD). Cate left when they were 8 years old. 564-10=554. Approximately, of course.
As for "The Search of Power" - you proposed a neat version actually, I like it. It was always considered to be set in the past for mentioning "the one who was before Kha-Beleth".

I got an impression that all HoF scenarios, save Iron Throne, follow the same rule: if a faction did not get a new campaign, it gets a Scenario showing an event after H5. Iron Throne might be the only exception because fortress is a new faction so it instead gets a historical event (though I still have no idea when it was... do we at least know how long Dwarves live?).

Oh yeah, that's fine.
Quite long. Hangvul lived ~350 years.
As for the Veyer map: well, Kha-Beleth speeks to him in the end and Veyer doesn't even seem surprised... Basically, in a very early version, there was another Sovereign before Kha-Beleth (named Mal-Beleth). Later it was revealed that they're and the same. My opinion is that this scenario happens before Kha-Beleth ascension to the throne or shortly after it. Just IMHO.

Thanks for the work! I'm gonna use it and play the h7 campaigns and scenario in that order but first I'll wait some time until the game is patched and balanced. I also think about playing H5 scenarios because I played only Tote ones(and didn't finish about two of them).
