You mean the four artefacts, portraits and H3HD? I received a code for H3HD to unlock it in Uplay. However, I don't know if that code is also to be used to unlock the rest. In any case, you should have a screen in the game menu where you can enter a code. Nox confirmed that this is the place to get your pre-order bonus content for H7. I asked Customer Support about why I haven't received a key yet. It should have been sent to me at release of the game.

That's not a preorder bonus, right? Solmyr is part of the CE and Digital Deluxe Edition. A standard version doesn't include him or his scenario.

Oh, you're right. Then what again was the pre-order bonus? I have forgotten

I have no idea what the use of 'exclusive in-game portraits' is, as we luckily don't have this ridiculous conflux system of H6 anymore. Maybe something to use in the map editor...
Anyway, I guess you can check in the map editor whether you already received the bonus or not. Natalka made a very nice summary of all the artefacts, and also pointed out which were included in the bonus.

I pre-ordered the digital DeLuxe edition too ... I have Solmyr available for skirmish maps, in any case. But I don't recall having seen the other portraits or artifacts.

When I pre-ordered, the confirmation mail said that I would get a key on the day of release. Didn't get one, only for H3HD which was added later as a bonus.

Where did you pre-order? I just located the pre-order mail that I got, but it's a generic one from Steam, doesn't mention anything of the goodies that should come with it. Only that it's the Digital Deluxe Edition.

I pre-ordered in the Uplay store. I got the usual info in the confirmation email, such as the order number, my address etc. Also the key for the Beta, and:
"•5/Bij de release van de game ontvang je een code via e-mail om je in-game bonus content vrij te spelen."
At the release of the game you will receive a code through email to unlock your in-game bonus content
I contacted Customer Support, but they're a bit reluctant to answer (should have received one already....but they're prolly too busy right now).
@fred79: it could have been worse  ...missing content from the CE for instance.

i think it was bad enough that homm3hd had missing content; lost expansion content, namely. i think the excuse of "we lost the source code" is a pretty snowty excuse, indeed. and to be honest, some of the stuff they came out with could have been improved before release. i mean, they DO own the rights to the stuff; so why not improve the bad graphics, and add the lost graphics back themselves? there's really just no excuse, period. it's slack-assing, is what it is.
but they will always expect their profits. they pay promoters to hype up their product, so that they can sell whatever they make to whoever will buy it. and because people continually buy heroes games from Ubisoft, Ubisoft doesn't learn. and they don't care, as long as the cash is flowing in(they are a BUSINESS). the only way the average consumer can control a company, is by boycotting their products until they get it right. that's how they make the producers of products learn: through a lack of income.
then, if Ubisoft decides they no longer want to make heroes games because they're not making them any money, they can sell the series to a company that JUST MIGHT BE BETTER AT IT.
but that'll never happen, because people keep buying the bullsnow hype. they keep wishing for something that ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN. like voting for the "best" person in politics. the snow's snowing stupid.
what gets me, what really gets me, is that people here at hc were complaining BEFORE they bought the product, and then BOUGHT THE PRODUCT ANYWAY. seriously, wtf?

I also pre-ordered in the Uplay store, but I did not get this message in my order confirmation. The additional content is also not listed in the stuff I bought. With H6 the preorder bonuses were listed as separate products.

The same in my email. It says "Productnaam: Might & Magic® Heroes® VII - Collector’s Edition (Pre-Ordered)", but the pre-order content is not listed anywhere. The only 'proof' of its existence is in that statement under nr. 5.

I just realised that I never got a good overview of what the Pre-order stuff actually entailed. Looking at the Heroes I can play in Skirmishes, I see a few that aren't listed on the website among the "generic" Heroes:
- Murazel (Haven);
- Kente (Stronghold);
- Tanis (Academy);
- Solmyr (Academy);
- Anastasya (Necropolis);
Solmyr is of course due to the Deluxe Edition, but are the other four from the pre-order bonus? I realise they are four of the six council members at Ivan's council - strangely, Jorgen and Lasir aren't among those (Lasir obviously, as he's one of the "default" Sylvan Heroes).

You could use campaign heroes in H6 too after beating said campaign I believe.

There are different goals in here. I heard someone, despite not liking the game, bought (or will buy it) for his/her children for Christmas. And that's just one example.

The fact that you can play with all above heroes is most probably because of the preorder. Interestingly, in Heropedia there is a note about Jorgen and he is mentioned as a hero. However, he's not available in skirmishes...
