Reasons to play Heroes 6
Some I made a list of the reasons of why I could consider reinstalling Might & Magic Heroes 6:
- Heroes seven runs to bad on my computer
- Sanctuary

- Insane necromancy abuse.
- Exciting champion gameplay that is influenced by class choice.
- Namtaru dual forms.
- Some good reworking of units and their abilities.
- Town portal system.

I know Heroes 7 is crap, but let's not lose the run of ourselves and start directing people to Heroes 6 of all things instead lol

I never uninstalled H6, and never will .
As long as H7 is out of my reach, I have to find other games to spend my time. And H6 proves to be just what I need (along with other games, of course).
I already wrote my 'reasons why I like H6' elsewhere, so I'll just have to link to that: clickity
I didn't mention Sanctuary in that whole wall of text, apparently I just take it for granted . That whole list of things sounds a bit more enthusiastic to me than if I would have written it now. I mean, I'm definately aware of where H6 stands in the grand scheme of things, and would be a little more moderate in expressing things the way I did over there. Doesn't mean I don't agree with my own words, though. When seen as a seperate entity, the things H6 brings to the table are absolutely worth playing imo. It gets the job done .

Combine that with a hero who knows Mass Regeneration, and you'll walk away unharmed . Same goes for Haven, which is maybe even more of a healing-abuse party than Necropolis. Not only are there the units who can resurrect/heal (Vestal/Celestial/Seraph), there is that Altar of Resurrection in-town, Dynasty Weapons such as Angelic Alliance and Sephiel's Voice, along with Guardian Angel IV and Regeneration. And reputation-based abilities as well.
In the best-case scenario, a Haven hero can have a lot of ways to heal his/her own troops .

A new dev. team called Virtuos has taken the job at rehauling...
the whole game by simply rendering the expansion of Shades of Darkness to a whole new level: Being totally Stand-Alone!
Then, go online and buy the two major DLCs that can be added to that newest and, revived edition of Heroes 6. Maps that were added to these DLCs are included in that newest Stand-Alone expansion of S.o.D. and, therefore, entices the player/owner to reach out online to purchase, download + incorporate the DLC to that edition of Heroes 6.
P.S.: A fully patched vanilla Heroes 6 would be really nice to re-purchase as a digital download in order to add it to that newer edition as an add-on. That would literally mean that, now, the version 2.1 of Heroes 6 would be at its 'Complete' status.

Talking about finalizing H6
H6:Complete has already been marketed for a few months now.
So, once you get the Complete Edition of Heroes 6, that's all folks. You have to play with all that is left of that Title of the HoMM series.
Unless a Modder comes forth and, decides to gather around modding helpers in order to make an un-formal expansion-like modification to this Complete Edition, well, that will be the end of further developments on that title.
