I found about the efreets battle, but you need the elixir first.
The opponent partially out-speeds you.
Every unit can take one hit (Elixier of live given).
You have one spot where you can fully cover one unit, check battlefield
Try this:
Position your troops in an 1 1 1 1 manner, so that one griffin can take spot in lower half of the hole, efreets will come close, but not too close, then close the hole with others.
Second turn one efreet attacks genie, one attacks griffin, and after that all your troops heal up.
So now you have to find a spot which makes sure that 2 of your units get attacked once, but not twice

The only artifact possible is the ring of life so start with random artifact as bonus.
If my memory is good, put the Griffin in first slot and wait. The first efreet will move closer and down to also get in range with the genie. When it's the genie's turn, send him to somewhere only 1 efreet can reach and similar for Griffin.

Hi Nicos,

As for the map i am on week 3 and i havent played it since over 3 weeks due to time restrain. Let me know if you are still playing it maybe i can use some tips as it is amazing and hard map.

Hi! Nice to meet you! I come from Greece. We haven't played together online. Be careful if you are playing the english version! I just found out the hard way that there is a quest guard at 91/11/0 left unedited and I cannot open it. I will contact the mapmaker (Nautilus) to fix it. I hope he can fix my gamesave too using a hex editor. Bye.

Efreets battle is very easy! Just split the efreets up and then take care of them!
There is also a very obscure method of killing them: Split up your genies and griffins and position them in a way that only one hex leads to a genie and the others to griffins (can be done using the fiery rocks and the lower left corner of the battlefield). This however takes 10x the time of the easy version.
In case you dont get it yet, take a look at RoseKavaliers fine walkthrough:

PS: Usually, the fights in my maps are quite set in stone after the first few days; I simply love the first day, since you can do quite specific setups, later on in maps, there are often times multiple solutions... so morale also comes into play the first few days only (and can be beneficial latest of course)

Hmm i did look at Rise of the Sun King by Nautilus...
looks immature to me tbh, that feeling was supported by the really silly intro as well (if you understand german).
Overall i don't find reload - look if you got every single move and every hp counted right - reload a bit more - finally move to the next calculated "fight"...interesting or hard.
Hard maybe in the sense of turning playing into work, yeah.
Next i tried "Lord Rings", chinese map i think...
after a couple days i noticed i miss a tiny amount of XP to open a border guard that required Level 4 on your hero.
Okay...i figured it must be those pit lords, did not all but 1 stack rez demons? So i carefully did all steps again...nope still short.
One last time...nope. /delete
Overall i would be very interested in "hard but fun" maps, like let's say Unleashing the Bloodthirsty (SoD version).
Masterpiece by Commando, and not only bloody hard but also darn fun unlike those chinese etc. maps. Really hard if you limit your reloads.
If anyone has suggestions (i prolly played most, but sometimes you find a gem). Oh, no WoG or such...just the standard H3 stuff + HotA.

I love hard maps like Wayfarer E, but Natsu/Biobob maps are in another level. Metataxers Revenge is really awesome map and just made me realize how much I don't know about Heroes 3 but I love when I find a solution to a problem after much of thinking. Natsu just a suggestion to improve the game play experience put some kind of in game guiding messages as after week two on Metataxers Revenge there is so many paths and options to play and user don't really know what is the best move and what should be the next priority to accomplish and at the end I just end up wasting time. Still the map is great and it is obvious that a lot of time is spend to be created.
