Poll Question: Will you pre-order/buy eventual expansion(s) for H7?
Just to see.
Don't mind too much the poll options, is just for fun, consider it simple yes or no.

Nice poll. It will show if developers should even bother to check this forum.

It's nothing but the truth man, h7 is a broken product full of bugs, so maybe they can go in some safe space if they can't face it.

Well, there does seem to be missing one option:
- I would consider it, but only if the main release gets fixed and improved before release of expansions.

You have exactly my thoughts but since this poll is just for fun, I picked "I love broken games"

Fair enough, although pardon me if I didn't think of that one as if by "improved" you mean rework the core aspects of the game such as the skill system I'll just say good luck with that!

I'm not saying I find it a likely scenario, I just don't feel that answering a flat no to the question is really representative, because if they pulled a complete make-over I would most likely buy the expansion. But then again, since I haven't even bought the core game, this might be so much of a hypothetical that I should just go with "no".

despite everything,
all the lies, all the half-truths, all the broken promises, all the shadiness, all the bugs, all the bad art, all the regurgitated art, all the sophomoric coding, all the unprofessionalism, all the insults to the community, even the direct personal insults to me from Ubilimb staff, and above all the terrible, boring, lame, pandering game design,
I'd still buy the game on sale if there were any chance of 1) an apology and 2) any reliable inkling that it was original, or fun, or the best of Heroes in ANY respect lol
so I voted no lol

I will never preorder anything from any developer. I see that as a very bad practice: to give money for something that can be completely broken.
As for Heroes products, even if I changed my policy for preordering, I wouldn't preorder. H6 and H7 are the worst things that happened to the franchise, and Ubivendi along with Limbic have shown their incompetence.
EDIT: Just noticed that title also says buy
One word: NO

No way in hell. H7 can die here for what I care.
I even regret having bought it on sale: only played for 4 hours, swarmed by critical bugs in single player and broken multiplayer. BURN!

I don't care about heroes franchise anymore, except for some hatin' from time to time. Just tell me when another company that is not ubisoft is the one giving out the budget for it. Oh, and if it's EA, bother, i prefer to live on ignorance.

I agree with verriker on this. Pre-ordering though not a chance in hell; I did not pre-order H6, H7, and I will not start. Pre-ordering is a foolish trend that cheats unsuspecting customers out of their money in my opinion.

If I heard correctly, the process of pre-orders was more relevant back in the day when the number of copies of the game were limited. Today, less reasons to do it, as you can see it yourself.

Today it's more for all the extra goodies that are given to people who pre-order. The feeling of missing out on something ingame is too big of a downside, for at least a number of people.

Preorder? Unlikely. Buy? Maaaaaybe... eventually. Probably would wait for a final / "gold edition" bundle, and maybe wait still until it came on sale. That said, given how low Steam put it during the Christmas sales, it might be sooner than I think. Still, probably would hold out at least until Inferno showed up.

After being fooled for so many years, I can't understand how someone could even "consider buying an xpack". Ubisoft has done that ever since they took over the franchise : releasing unfinished and bug plagued games, fixing them very slowly over time, releasing xpacks that fix the basic game or add features that were promised with the basic game.
Considering buying an xpack is just giving them the right to do the same thing again and again as they did for H5 and for H6 ... and most likely for H7.
