The question yours..
Ok I know RoE used Black and Red Orb too much, esp. AIs, or mapmakers. When you've a Black Orb in the RoE, only you can cast spells to your opponent or yourself, but expansion gave also opponent can cast spells, even if your Black Orb. So I rejected Black Orb, thus relic artifact. How? Think about your AI opponent has many Gold Dragons, Silver Pegasi and Faerie Dragons.. You've disabled level 1-7 creatures, and your fear from the AI opponent, so you cast a Slow, Blind, but opponent casts Clone, and you haven't a Clone.. Hmm say the same PS stats.. But more than your creatures?! So the game, plz! I don't need to tuned AIs.. Useless or wrong spells out, so AI can't cast an idiot spell, right? Hmm Black Orb can't use against human/AI, if you've immune creatures like Skeletons, Magma Elemental, Gold Dragon and Titan.. Red Orb? When you've snow spells or you haven't a Wisdom.. Snow spell? Where is Resurrection, so you can't go to against AI and/or human player.. Simple! An idea is TP, when you haven't a TP in the MP and 2 vs 2 in the Giant map, for example! So taking a Red Orb.. But rarely artifact! Both artifacts for feared player  To ban a artifact *facepalm*
EDIT
You can use a Black Orb against neutral monsters..

Does Orb of Vulnerability also remove immunity from all artifacts for both players? For example Pendant of Second Sight (Blind) and Pendant of Dispassion? (Berserk)

The Orb of Vulnerability not working for the enemy is there with halved necromancy and doubled Scouting as one of the first adjustments HotA implemented. I can't believe you never noticed. Try a SoD map for once or test it yourselves.

Nope, if you have a protecting artifact enemy can't use that spell.

Scouting and Necromancy, what are you talking about and what does it have to do with Orb of Vulnerability?
I meant how artifact immunities work for both players, if one of the players have Orb of Vulnerabilty.
Excuse me but Orb of Vulnerability is the most confusing artifact in the game, especially since it does'nt work the same way for both players.

I'm saying that by the time HotA emerged with his halved necromancy and improved scouting, it also changed the way the Orb of Vulnerability works.
Start a SoD map, give yourself and your opponent Dragons and only you the Orb and see how it works. You can Resurrect your Dragons but so can he.

Ok, I tested it myself. Unless I've missed something you're right.
Yet, I kind of remember this. It must be the alzheimer catching me...

I remember RoE AI used Black Orb and Sphere of Permanence.. Do you know that dispel to your Black Dragon without a Black Orb? And I lost the game from friend, when I bought Black Orb from Artifact merchants in the RoE.. When I played as Tower, and friend played as Rampart, map name is Warmongers.. SoD changed game mechanics.. The same H4.. So H3 expansion became easier rule, except Archangel for 3 gems, but H4 expansion became harder rule..

Why? I'm not joking.. I played RoE so much.. If you meant SoD.. or you trusted in thelazy.. But you never played RoE.. What I believe so..
