true enough. i figured it would help keep people on their toes, if they really wanted to be the first to answer. i can see how that's a flaw in the original setup, though(with the second participant just answering the opposite). giving them more options helps, but something else could be added, i think. any ideas besides just multiple answers? we should be able to refine the game enough to where there is enough deviance from a straightforward formula without confusing any participants needlessly.

Not really, this was just the first thing that popped into my head when Stevie brought up adding something.
Anyway, I am headed off for the night. Fred if you are still active I don't want to keep anyone waiting so feel free to go back to the original formula if you want to keep things rolling

Well now I am worried that I killed the thread.
I suggest one of two things either go back to how it was, or add a rule that people can guess multiple times with either a time restriction (one guess a day) or make it so they can not guess consecutively (You can guess again after someone else tried).

ok, we go back to the original way, then. easy peasy. raenus, you want to do another question, or reformat your previous question so that it follows the original guidelines? no sense in letting the thread die.

lol, he could have been trying to carry the chainsaw at the same time. doesn't have to be running to cut you. but i know i'm wrong anyway, because he didn't respond to my post.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, been a busy day. Forgive the hauling, pretty common term around us. Hauling encompasses (to us anyway) finding old, dead trees, cutting them up and bringing the wood back.
And yes, I did cut my leg with a chainsaw, managed to do so while high-stepping through a snow drift (and no it was not off when it happened). Hurt like hell and gouged a good chunk of my thigh out. Luckily it didn't quite hit bone and missed my kneecap. The best part was the drive home.
My body has quite the history in scars on it. Fred you are up
