I'll say this: the gold actually looks like gold now and not like a heap of sulfur.

Pardon my ignorance, but I was reading the Cyclops' article and came across "somewhat low on damage for Level 6, but has (...) a high Attack". I don't follow what the difference is between Damage and Attack - my mind interprets that as the same concept.

Attack is countered by Defense and the difference between these modifies the base damage of the creature. That's the way it has always worked in Heroes games up till now .

Thank you for all of the work you are doing EnergyZ, it is fascinating to see how the units translated to GB.
Forgive me if this is the wrong place to do so, but I recommend a QP for all of the work he has done here and on the wiki.

I welcome such appreciation. Though I would appreciate more if there were more editors. Certainly beats being angry at Ubisoft and their marketing charades.
Back on the topic, update of hero images. This should conclude the Barbarian/Stronghold/Plains faction.
Do you think that there is no game without bugs, no matter how small they may seem? Well, yesterday, I saw something that isn't just an ordinary bug, but a bug of bugs.
Anyway, after making some progress on the map I played, I recruited a tavern hero, Kelzen (for the purposes of documenting his image). Surprisingly, on the map, it is shown as Troyan. Furthermore, she is listed as a warlock, rather than a sorceress, had immensive stats for early in the game (being said, it is very difficult to achieve a primary stat over 20, even with ultimate artifacts). Finally, she was even hostile (but could not move) and had hundreds of goblins, minotaurs, "tortoises" and "Flee from Battle" monsters (the latter two are disoriented bits and graphics).
I don't think there is an actual way to win this battle.
Screenshots:
Just did some maintenance. As of now, Barbarian faction is named as Plains and Knight faction as Farm, as per Heroes I names. (Since most of the content is from Heroes I, if not all.)
Here is the siege theme. It's somewhat... unique, if that is the word I could say.

BAM! Warlock faction, the Mountain, is here.
Buildings have been added. Huh, gargoyles come from crypts and aren't even dead. Or undead.
Info on centaur, gargoyle and griffin units.
Part II: minotaur, hydra, and, of course, everyone's favorite:
the dragon.
The spooky, the mysterious, the ominous... Mountain music.
More update on hero portraits. Tomorrow comes many people's favorite, the Forest, aka the Sorceress faction.

It's so weird how the transition from original music to MIDI completely changes the tone of a track. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the Sorceress and Warlock themes were swapped for the Gameboy version, though it sounds more ominous in the GB version than it does in the original track.

Hydra is adorable.
I actually like most of the GB music, I am a sucker for retro video game music.

I can't say, either. One of the mistakes, as pointed out, was to swap Sir Gallant and Lord Kilburn's portraits. Then again, it would be weird to have a dark tone in a faction revolving forest creatures.
Anyway, the Sorceress faction starts here and now.

Hey guys,
Sorry to open this question here but I can't open a new topic.
I recently bought all heroes of might and magic games and I wanted to try out heroes2 but it requires the cd to play which I don't really want to constantly use.
Is there anything I can do to avoid it?
Thanks in advance.

well if you bought the cd version of the game then I'd say ethically speaking it's fine for you to pirate a no cd version, but we're not allowed to promote piracy here at HC so can't help you directly lol

You've searched poorly. Typing Heroes2 no cd crack, google redirect you to the site game(.....).com. There you type 'heroes of might and magic 2' search buton and voila.

Rogue, ghost, nomad and genie; all four neutral units from the game, just like in the original. And just like in the original, genie can be bought from the lamp that vanishes and the ghost cannot be bought, only fought against.
This is basically the point where I did most of the technical stuff - line-ups, factions, buildings. There's some few things to share, but, in a few days, that's all for "Heroes of Might and Magic" for Game Boy Color.
Not much of an update today, but here are the "classes":
Greyguy
Hairman
Pajamaboy
Skirtgirl
The loss scene and
the victory scene.
