The monkey is too big for a level 2 creature.
It will be better if its height is around the archer's shoulder.

Thanks.
Now it feels like a bit too small. Maybe we can enlarge it a bit?
Make the 3 legs on the right just cover one grid like shown below.
Additionally (Not very important),
It would be good to have the monkey stand on 2 legs, so its last leg will not protrude out of the grid.

Yes. That is how i want to position the def.
If the head is out of the grid, it will be blocked by other creatures.
Blocking hind legs will be fine.
The new animation is funny. But it doesnt really solve the width problem. So lets keep the original animation. And this one can be an alternative mouse-over animation.
And, can you turn the monkey's head towards the screen a bit for the standing animation, so that it looks more 3D? If this is too troublesome, maybe we can just use the mou(10) frame and make it static.
And the death animation. The body is falling away from the grid.
Sorry, dude. I am making your life difficult.
Want to hear your opinion as well.

If convenient, keep a copy of the big monkey. Just in case need it in the future.

I have 2 alternatives of the mountain character here.
Both of them have some problem.
The first one is at the dark side of the mountain, so it doesnt stand out. But I want to keep the black color and reserve a bright golden color for the upgraded look.
The second is facing away from the town.
What do you guys think?

Asking an English question.
This town's name is Zulu Town, which means a town that hunts deer.
Now I want to change the name so it would belong to the same type as Tower, Fortress and ets.
Since the town is located deep in the mountains and far from the cities. I am thinking of a name as Hideout.
But I feel Hideout has a bad connotation, which is associated with outlaws.
What do you English experts say?

With Hideout, they're all adequate names, maybe except for the last pair. Homestead is a recruitment building for Elves in Rampart and Village sounds a bit too weak.
The problem is, the Fort/Citadel/Castle building doesn't look like a hideout or a lodge. Castle looks like castle, but this:
looks like some kind of fortress. Retreat is general enough to cover it, but maybe more defensive terms would be more fitting? Like Bulwark, or Redoubt?
