I would love to know the odds. Did 2 pulls myself on the Santa Claws event, first one was fine with 2 legendaries, 1 of which had 4 dots. Second pull literally had no creature with more than 2 dots, or 3 stars. It was a bit of a kick in the teeth to say the least.
From what other players are saying, it’s 1 legendary every 20 diamond summon or 2 multisummons on average. And 1 4dot legendary every 200 diamond summons or 20 multisummons, so you actually got good odds in your pull.
If those statistics are accurate then I guess I shouldn't complain too much. It was pretty hard at the time to accept that I'd just chucked 800 diamonds away to get 10 garden variety creatures that would basically be used for awakening or recycling.

I don't know who made these numbers and how but to me they seem really off. I don't think I made more than 20 multi-summons ever since I started playing and I know many players who didn't and they have their teams of legs, sure not necessarily 4 dots but still. Then you see this kind of things... That's a lot of 4d legs for such a low level, and VIP4 is not whaling either.

I feel like this was an unintentional cheat. Devs posted a news message a couple of days ago warning players against buying items from outside sources. I feel like this is one of those cases

Nah I do have 4d legs, I just didn't use them. True that I got them relatively late. Now in high gold running a minimum of two 4d creatures is required to compete with some of the top players, so I use a new team now.
PS. Tanking is for losers.
(unless you can't rank decent in high gold)

I was happy with the last event, did two pulls, didn't get the Raiju but got another 3d phoenix and more importantly a 3d Hunchman, which will replace my 2d one for level 51. Now for my attack team I think I might be better off using the new Hunchman rather than the Astral.
At least until I awaken the AStral a bit, because the Hunchman is almost all the way.

Nah you're ok, I mean more people that are lvl 500 with fully awoken legs, these have nothing to do in low gold.
Yes a lot of people use Hunchman, he certainly has its perks and can outmatch Astral in some situations, even if Astral has a stronger constitution.

I’m a loser too cause I tanked for this knight event  I need it though as I only have 1 useful 4dot legendary. Basically my team has everyone with 3dots except for 1 and I use 2 epics as well. That’s how bad my legendary creatures are.
Of course with whales and lvl 400+ guys tanking as well, top 3 is pretty much impossible for gold B. So 4dots are still out of reach.
I do know who you are talking about though. There is a lvl 500 player from that guild who uses a team with all 4dot fully awakened legendaries including a 4dot fully awakened knight who still tanked for this knight event despite the fact that he can get top 3 by staying in gold A. And he’ will have no use for the 4dot knight that he’s going to win. I guess he can do whatever he wants. But it makes it less fun for everyone else. And shows how broken dungeon and tanking is.
I really do hate the tanking mechanic. Devs need to fix this along with the reward structure but they keep ignoring it.

They are aware of the issue but they are a small team and every change they make takes time to implement.

So it's possible to get demoted from high Gold somehow? Where can I find info about that?
Like I've said elsewhere, I'm pretty much outclassed here, with all other players being at least 100+ levels and 10+ castle levels above me. Not to mention that I don't have any awakened legendaries, and certainly no 4d ones. Just got my first ever 4d Rare (besides the Jade Dragon) a while back.

All you need to do to tank is have a prestige around 1900 or below. The next event you will be demoted.

Thanks... Now I just need to figure out how to do that. Getting it between 1950-2000 is easy, but once it's that low, hardly anyone is going to attack you.

You can’t revenge if you didn’t win an attack. The trick is to attack and win enough to get other players to attack you while you get revenged as well. Good luck.
Dungeon is starting to become less appealing to play

Oh look, CQ devs are handing out another 4dot OP nymph to random lucky people. While the rest of those who got 3dot are screwed.
The current direction of dungeon is making it less and less appealing to play.
And yes, a 4dot chaos nymph is OP when paired with the right 4dot creatures. You can figure out which those are.
It’s like the devs heard all the complaints about the wood nymph and doubled down on what people hate most about it.
It’s a giant FU and middle finger to players.
I’m close to quitting dungeon and not bother being competitive in it.

The fun thing is that all people that got a four dot Dryad (Green Nymph) also got a four dot Lampad (Black Nymph)
And the people (like me of course) that got a 3 dot green nymph again got a 3 dot black nymph.
They should give everybody a four dot nymph in such situations, because its the only way to get this creature...

i've dropped to silver before by having around 1980 points twice in a row

Some can take it this way, what I see is some top players in Kreegans got the 3d Nymph and their performance in dungeon was not diminished, so I feel you are overreacting a bit, IMO
It may not seem fair to the 1% of players grinding this game like crazy or/and paying money, but it's also the exact opposite to the more casual players -the majority- by letting them have great creatures without needing to grind so much or pay money for it. It's great creatures available to ALL and I think that's a great thing for the health of the larger playerbase. Besides, you need to awaken, you need to enchant, you need to up your kingdom, you need the right synergies, so it's not like the casual who gets the 4d Nymphs will suddenly reap all the top 1 rewards.

Thanks, that helps.
My current attempts at dropping it below 1900 are going poorly: tried filling my dungeon with level 1 creatures, still not getting attacked at 1950.
Except by one player who attacked and then instantly quit, gifting me a free win and temporarily boosting my prestige back to 2000+. Urgh.
I guess pretty much everyone who's below 2000 is either inactive, or also trying to tank.
