In my experience of literally destroying Stegosauruses, I think you'll have to consider some important aspects. First is that they deal massive AoE damage and can one shot any Red creatures, to help diminish the damage you take you can either buff your team with Defense or reduce the Stego's defense as it deals damage according to it. Secondly, you'd want to make sure that you delay his turns as much as possible so you can then, thirdly, have enough time to heal to full by the time he strikes again. If any of those is missing, you will most likely have a hard time defeating it, but if you have them all you will make short work of them. I would recommend that you put together a team with creatures that have at least 8k HP and over 1000 Defense at the bare minimum, that might still be too low.

Welcome Lunatic, I am sure no one objects to your presence.

As for the Stego, I do have one solid piece of advice.

AVOID THAT SOB AT ALL COSTS! He is 100% grade A bull manure. I can easily beat pretty much any creature other than the Stego. He has caused me so much grief over the last few days.

Stevie may have better advice for you, he is the Stego whisperer.

WOW, that stegosaurus is awesome! I really want to evolve it now! Can't wait till monday, then it is blue crystal day, I evolved my siren in no time on that day, my stegosaurus needs some 150 more levels before it is fully evolved though.

Nice one stevie, im quite jealous! Do you struggle with facing any creature yourself?

And I see you stunned the stego (I guess it has a relative low luk/resistance because of his huge HP/defence?) Which creature in your pool has a stun?

The Storm Giant has the stun, it's quite amazing if you read the Special Ability.

Yea, I struggle against 4 dot fully awakened Phoenixes and 4 dot Knights, they're a coin flip. Forest Giants counter me too hard so I would rather avoid them even if they have only 3 dots, 4 dots is out of the question.

Since my normal team just wrecks absolutely everything so far except Stego...perhaps I just do it the straight way and build myself a separate Stego counter team? A bit of work,but then I should get my 100% attack win back... *thinking*

Got a medusa from an idol. No wonder, she is so easy to defeat, her stats are the worst.

basic: ranger

special: hits target for 150% pwr and stuns it for 4 turns, stuns two additional targets randomly chosen for 3 turns

stats (base on lvl 60):
HP: 4800
PWR: 960
ATK 1155
DEF: 750
LUC: 1320
MP: 110

awakenings:

+30% crit chance vs stunned
+5% def
+15% luc
+30% crit chance vs stunned
+15 max level
+2 stun duration
+15% def
+40% crit chance vs stunned


I don't know what to make of it. Her stats are insanely low, she is so fragile with 4.8k hp and 750def. Her special only hits one target for fairly low dmg and stuns 3 enemies.

The awakenings are nearly worthless, guaranteed crits vs stunned enemies, what's the point? and two awakenings boost her weakest stat by a percentage??

Compared to the occultist, who has a similar statline, but much better awkaenings and speical this seems really bad.

I think they have the balance wrong with many legendaries. Some of them are very weak while others are crazy strong. They should take a second look at them and adjust their stats and abilities.

What would there be whining about? People receiving fair legendaries? I mean, isn't the fact that there are useless legendaries the main source of complaint right now?

I see a loooooot of crying stego defense Users if that adjusting happens

But for Medusa...call me crazy,I would take her with full pleasure if i get one, not joking.

She may deal no damage (except you run 2 stunners and that crit impact hurts), but I see 1 4-round and 2 3-round stuns and a +2 stun awakening...for offensive control teams she seems very strong with that luck on top...great control/support monster imo

Well, first off, who recycles legendaries anyway? That's a stupid move no matter how I look at it. And secondly, would that complaint be legitimate? So devs should avoid improving the game because some fans would whine? I don't know about that.

100% disagree. I love it that there is such difference in power WITHIN tiers, it makes creatures unique and appealing. And it's not like the "bad" legendaries are crap anyway, the weakest are still stronger than any Epic so I do not see any problem here.

It is normal that you want the better ones, if all were too close in stats and abilities, the game would be much less entertaining, IMHO

I agree on 80% with you there Galaad.

I think you are completely right with your point of view and that they still are on point as 'legendary'.

They all just have different usage and need different tactics.

80% is cause a few only should be considered a work on...some abilityes like stego or paladin use are just a bit too high scales in term of Power. I mean,it's a bit crazy that you practically need to build a whole extra team (i am working on a stego counter team) just to get rid of them...

So a few of them could need a re-balance ...especially when I think about how hard/impossible it is for many players to awaken them ever.

My opinion,any reply seen with pleasure.

That is not really true, I could beat Stego with my main team. My basic tactic (and that works also with Phoenix and Knight) is to first stun so I avoid the huge damage first and then I strike. Of course I have full mana that I gathered beforehand specifically for the wave. With my nuker and all combos activated it works. Boss waves in dungeon for me is usually done before second turn. For some monsters you need to level up or/and buff your team but no need for specific color counters as in Grand Wish Quests.
From my experience good use of combos and complementary colors does the work quite neatly.
I think they nerfed the Phoenix, it could rebirth without needing to use its special once before, making it a bit less mighty now in my opinion.

I try exactly that Galaad and get my dead team handed to me like nothing.

I run elder blue dragon,vampire ruler,lightning elemental lord and 2 revive/heal creatures,all maxed out as much as for me possible...so I can stun and nuke a lot...but stego? 3 wins out of 10.

The only 2 creeps that stopped me so far are Stego and that Paladin...second one even hardcounters me but I still kill it better than Stego...

That's what I meant when I said I need to build an extra team for it...I need to drop one reviver and the elemental for a nuke and perhaps a silence...then it could work

Everything else seems beat able to me with just adjusting my tactic and smart playing.
