I remember editing certain xml files but not much else.
I have played a lot H5, I'm totally burned out on it which is why I play every once in a while I get nostalgic. Which is pretty much when I return to this forum as well.
Seems like this was not picked up :s I had hoped updating it at least once would bring to the 1st page and maybe someone would see it and do it correctly. I still have the links up and will continue to do so of course.
I could try making it better with some help cause I can't do it by my self anymore.
Yea 5.5 needs better textures IMO. I tried updating this stuff but it was too hard for me.
One thing I could try is make a mashup with the newer version. Meaning I'd use 7ZIP and just throw the files in and make a new one.
This is very easy to do and it's what I did with the second update. This I can get around in the next few days. Of course some models won't work and I think Orlando and the Sovereign won't have animations and maybe there will be some crashes. I'm in the mood to play some H5 so I guess I'd get around doing it.
Still for anyone interested in doing it by themselves it's pretty simple. You open all the files in 7ZIP (along with H5.5 data) and just put them all in the data Yeah I know it shouldn't even be considered modding, but it works.. kinda. Also this doesn't modify any of the mod data which I wouldn't want to do.
EDIT: What I mean by "open all the files" is to download everything linked in thew first post (not my download) and then do the whole 7ZIP mashup. As I recall you don't have to change the file name but you should always keep a backup of your original data file.
