Battle Griffin ability bugged
I haven't changed anything about Battle Griffin but now it's ability is instant and i don't have an idea how to solve this.
Is there a file that i can change the values of rush dive? You can see which files i have changed when you download the my mod New Order

It has been quite a while ago that I played heroes 5 but....
Battle griffin is the red upgrade right? (I think the standard upgrade was imperial griffin)
As far as I know, the battle griffin specialty has ALWAYS been an instant attack, but limited to once per combat.
Imperial griffin has some delay but can be used over and over.

Lol wait are you sure? HAHAHAHAHA wait let me check it on vanilla game
Edit: No. It is not instant. But in my mod it started to cast it instant.

You must be using a mod or modded map with that change. For instance I have set battle griffin dive to instant on my map and having it in the folder will affect the whole game.
You can find the modifier in game mechanics, rpg stats, default stats. Seach for PackDive_DelayBeforAttack

Hmmm i don't have any mods. I am just using my own mod and for the make tests i am removing my files and problem is solving but it seems my mod causing this. I am absolutely sure i haven't changed anything about griffins or their abilities.

Edit: Still no idea. I already memorized many posts because of searching many things
Edit2: Still no luck. In my mod, i have just changed these 2 things in data.pak
* GameMechanics (Creature - RefTable - RPGStats - Spell - TownBuildingSharedStats)
* MapObjects
If i remove my mod, battle griffin bug fixing but why my mod makes this ability instant cast?
Edit3: Source of the problem is DefaultStats.xdb but how can i solve?

Guys i give up. I don't have an idea why this is happening. If i remove defaultstats from folder, problem is solving. But of course it takes my mod settings too
How can i solve this problem?

Okay I know I'm necroing this but have to do this in case other people later encounter this issue.
All you have to do is delete the "renegates" brackets and realign the champion charge and rush dive lines inside that Haven section. This will restore both these abilities to work again.

I saw this thread some time ago, but never ever expected that i would encounter this obscure bug. Think it happened after installing ClassicAI, but im not sure. Those battle griffs were pretty much shooters.
Anyways, im thankful for your discovery Cookie. Cheers for good necroing!
