Smthng like alt + click on our hero on the map or in some place at hero panel, that will show us every step of skill choice with every lvl-up? I considered it a while back, given that LMOracle needs to be recompiled every few HDmod updates which seem to break the window recognition pattern.
The biggest issue is that there is no good UI option to render this in game, i.e. no tree control like AlexSpl used. I first thought it would be better fitting in the editor (with the customizable seed and primary skills predictions) but for sure it would come in handy instead of entering nwcneo over and over to see what you get.

Right, this is a long standing bug, in fact there are 2 bugs here
1- incorrect sprite shown, even in AB/SoD
2- supposedly banned artifact still generated
#1 the issue is that Pandora's Box is not a valid random artifact to be generated but its sprite sits at AVA0128.def while it in fact is not considered an artifact (object of type 5). This means that the sprite generated if you roll id > 127 will always be 1 less than what it should be, e.g. AVA0129 instead of AVA0130. Should be fixable with a bit of tinkering and is required for AB/SoD anyway.
#2 AB and RoE are barely ever played and (iIrc) there's no information stored in the exe regarding which expansion an artifact belongs to. Furthermore, when you launch a RoE/AB map using the SoD exe (for which this plugin is meant), then the game type is automatically set as '2' no matter what the map was in the first place. It's only changed if you're playing campaigns - the map type in the h3m file itself is ignored. Not certain what would happen if the map type would be overwritten when parsing the map but it's worth investigating I suppose.

It's not an issue. It still works, even for HotA with its 29 skills. And, what differs your plugin from the way LMOracle obtains info, your mod has full access to HoMM3 structures, while LMOracle is a standalone application.

Maybe this unlock "parts" artifacts in map RoE/AB (checkbox if working)? I have more examples artifacts bugs for this, but you probably know .

That's good then, I hadn't used it in years but I remembered at some point it would stop working every now and then and we'd have to get a new working version
BTW, for anyone not familiar, this is how it looks in LMOracle, each tree portion represent a level up + choice.
So the challenge is how to represent this type of tree-structure within the confines of heroes3... otherwise it'll be going in the editor.

Honestly, I wanted this mod mainly for the unlocked minimap on AI's turn so I can see where they are on XXL maps, is there any other mod that can replicate that?

This was some time coming; time availability being the main issue.
Note that for the last point, I simply copy-pasted the English text version. Player base can suggest appropriate translations which can be used in future versions

Perhaps combining it with an horizontal/vertical sequence to show decisions made until then and allow you to go back. Also maybe try to fit in an extra level of depth, so you can skip down the tree a bit further... anything more than 8 would likely not fit on screen very well. Plenty of time to think about it since I can't start implementing it for some time.

I don't know you understand me. When click spell book you see spells adventure (right) and click RMB for two "balls" broken - swap RMB images - small bugs images.

You resolved bugs "images/spirtes" "artifacts combine" for RoE/AB or only blocked generate? You know how/where find "fix" for AB/SOD? I unlock "set" campaing RoE/AB function SoD (moat, artifacts combine, slot in eq, etc.), but I too see this bug with "artifacts combine"

Hmm, it's interesting... In the original spells.def the cadre for the View Air spell is #3 and for the View Earth spell is #5, while in the original SpellScr.def the cadre for the View Air spell is #5 and for the View Earth spell is #3. How is this possible? Shouldn't their numbers correspond to in-game spell numbers? I use the MMArchive tool for extracting spell cadres, if it's relevant.
Wowsers! It's the HD mod that restores the correct order, and does it on the fly, but it doesn't know about the New Spells plugin, so what we see is the original game bug.

As far as I know, setting the game type (0-1-2 for RoE-AB-SOD) to match the map type should solve most issues. For example if you use the latest version with a RoE map and go fight a Stronghold castle, you'll see obstacles generated. When I looked at the code, it seemed like the game type was properly being set for campaign maps already, but I could be wrong. Also, with the right game type being set, the game should theoretically not generate the combination artifacts.

Load the sprite then std::swap(frames[3], frames[5]) should take care of it.
