I know. My scenario is even worse. I waited for a next King's Bounty to be announced for 5 years only to get the totally unrelated to the former games King's Bounty 2 announcement which is made by 90%+ new team.

Since we were talking about good old games and unreleased ones before, my next question will be focused on that.
When I was younger (~10 years ago or something), which was my favorite kind of area in modern King's Bounty? (I just chose some of my images, there is more to these areas than you can see here)
1. Beach
2. Lava
3. Elven Forest
4. Snow (why does it say snow?)
5. Dwarven Mine

I kinda killed all the enemy stacks in the photos, right?
Dang, I shouldn't have opened it today. The nostalgia hit me like a truck, tbh, and the animations didn't look awkward at all (they were top-notch, I could say). I probably noticed this because of my trauma with H7.
Yep, it was snow, Count (why does it censor it?). It was a tough one between snow, lava and dwarven mines, but I liked the snow areas a bit more. And as I said, those photos barely show some of the game's areas, and I used that one with the train because it was a classic.
Here are some more images of snow areas and Armageddon spell at the end:

Tips for anyone who wants to play this game which has H3 battles. Here I explain the chronological order in which the games take place, as well as some info:
1. King's Bounty: the Legend (no expansion and such)
2. King's Bounty: Armored Princess (however, Crossworlds contains this game and also an improved version called Orcs on the March, so play the improved version)
3. King's Bounty: Warriors of the North (but should be bought and played only together with the expansion, Ice and Fire)
4. King's Bounty: the Dark Side (this is the only bad game in the series)
You can sometimes find them on sale at GOG or Steam, btw, and it's only 12 bucks the whole series then.
Sorry, I won't spam like this again. I just wanted to give a full answer now, that's all.
Edit: NP, monere.
Edit 2: Your only option left was Beach, Oddball . Don't worry, it actually looked pretty good, especially at night.

holy moly, there's a lot of them. I don't think I'll find the time to play them all... not yet, anyway... but I'll definitely purchase them if they're on sale on GOG. All of the games that I own (among which H3 and H4, too) have been bought on GoG. I like those guys, their games power up and work perfectly even on potatos
