Hijacking!
Sorry Elvin, leave this one to me please. I barely get time to post anything lately and DD really brought back some Civ memories so I'm itching to go.
Now the question, which two civilizations did I enjoy playing the most throughout the Civilization series?
1. Babylon/Rome
2. Japan/America
3. England/France
4. Rome/Japan
5. America/China
6. Spain/England
7. Japan/Korea

NoobX got it right, was the answer that obvious?
I really enjoyed playing Rome and Japan ever since Civilization 3. Even now I'm still running a game as Japan in my Civilization 5. Never got behind America out of all of those above, and I'm fairly sure I tried Babylon before to get a scientific victory without success. That was before Vox Populi mod, right now things are different, more balanced and enjoyable, each civilization being more viable. I'll probably try something different next time, maybe Greece or Korea.
Anyway, congrats to NoobX, you are next.

Bad form. I haven't gotten an answer right for a week or more, and i've been itching to go myself. Yet, you don't see me hijacking turns(unless the individual who's next up doesn't post anything within a couple days. I waited 3 days for elvin to reply in the lie detector thread. You should have waited, too).
So, it's elvin's turn, still, unless he doesn't have a problem with this, himself. If he doesn't, then your question and the replies thus far are still valid. If he takes issue with it, then your question and the replies are rendered moot, and it is his go.

Whomever goes next it's fine (by me if nothing else), I already had my "hijacking" moment which you should interpret as lighthearted and fun as I have meant it that way. Don't get all stiff with the rules or whatever, the purpose of such threads is to have fun, right? One extra turn squeezed in, who cares if it's moot as long as people participate and enjoy themselves.

Yeah, i just don't want a precedent set, or anything. It could make people angry if they have a really good one planned, and then have to wait, and might forget. I've forgotten at least 4 myself that i had planned, because i didn't win. Don't forget about the other participants, is all i'm saying. I want to keep this fun, too.

I'll pass the round to Elvin. Equilibrium achieved
Anyway, I always enjoy Rome because of the early game power spike with their legionaires, and not to mention the Industrious trait in Civ4 which works wonders (pun intended). Japs were kind of obvious, though.

Thanks Funny, first that came to mind was Rome/Japan as well. Never played civilization but I find those cultures fascinating.
Now then, which divinity original sin did I find most interesting for a first try?
1) Archer/Earth for dps+support/slow
2) Fire/Earth for pure destruction
3) Rogue/Warrior for tricky fighting
4) Air/Water for freeze/stun
5) Witch/Warrior for crowd control+dps
6) Water/Warrior for tank with healing/buffs
7) Witch/Rogue for extra trickiness
