I was almost going to say he was assassinated but considering the state of dairy products in Sicily (because there's snowing maggots in everything), I'm just gonna rule that one out.

As the Romans can attest, if the assassins don't get you, disease will. Perhaps it's time to chalk one up for edema.

Honestly didn't know such a thread was up, but alas, I came back from the dead just to say that this is bloody libel of the greatest sort, our dairy products are simply the best and are perfectly maintained since we usually eat fresh cheese, the second some mold appears, the snower is thrown out at the speed of mach 5 (unless there's some stingy guy that doesn't care about his health), we don't eat moldy cheese unlike the northerners and their oh so beloved gorgonzola, and the guys who eat cheese with maggots are the Sardinians, who are stuck in the stone age btw.
We don't even have a culture of fermented food unlike many others in the world, the worst we do is eating raw fish, and eating blood jelly maybe.

But I did have food poisoning. Not due to cheese tho, but due to badly conserved meatballs.

That one was on me and my laziness.

I enjoy Italian cuisine (who doesn't?) and your various cheese types. But when it comes to cheese I think France takes the (cheese) cake. For instance I very much like gorogonzola, but I came to a conclusion that Roquefort is the ultimate moldy/blue cheese when it comes to popular ones.

Meh, tastes are tastes, I cannot fathom how people eat moldy cheese, I remember tasting gorgonzola once without knowing it and I found it absolutely disgusting. And then they told me it was gorgonzola, and I got even more grossed out. lol

I got my little trifecta of Mozzarella, Ricotta and Tuma, then outside of our own cheeses I usually have trouble tasting other types.
But that's also because I'm a very particular guy in regards to cheese.

Dairy is an abomination and should not be consumed but since we are on the subject, USA has far superior dairy products than France. We also have better wine and beer.

Other than maybe Kosovo, USA has the best wine & cheese in the world. This is an objective fact. Wisconsinites are the cheesemakers of the world and the American Pacific coast makes - by far - the best wine.

The only way France says in business is by a combination of tariffing outsiders to death and lots and lots of propaganda to the French people. Not even Germans or Italians can very successfully sell their wine in France because of so much propaganda.

Now, this doesn't change the fact that a civilized society should switch to using cashews and other products for making cheese. I'm just pointing out the realities of the trade, barbaric though they may be.

I would love to try it myself (Wisconsin cheese for instance), but keep in mind France has like 400+ years of more experience in making cheese plus everything USA knows about cheese comes form Europe https://nationalhistoriccheesemakingcenter.org/history-of-cheese/. So is everything else, outside from some native influences like corn or bean-based dishes for instance. When it comes to beer I doubt it, even though most popular brands have, again, European roots. I've drinked Bud Light once, and unless it was cheated for export, it didn't strike me as being any better then our own common mass-produced beers (yet still many international guests in Poland claim those to be good, better then theirs). I don't know, I've switched to craft beers all the way. When it comes to craft beers US types evolved from European ones like APA's from Pale Ale. US wine is solid though, especially the Californian ones: nice value for your money. The quality might be actually related to the micro-climate in Wine Country, cus the better the grapes the better the wine, and the region has a lot of sun. Again, European colonists though

But to at least give some credibility to your claims evolution sometimes yields great results. Around 30 years ago dairy produce in my country was non-existant aside from some common types like gouda or white cheese, and some local specialties like "Oscypek" or "Bryndza". But our local producers researched other cheese-makers techniques and now we have some really nice cheese types like "Lazur", "Bursztyn" or "Korycinski". The latter is actually much older (17th century), and was inspired by Swiss techniques. It stayed really local until it was advertised and now is quite popular.

To be fair Blob, I'd still take our local cheeses, rather than that overprocessed Visconsin garbage.

but when it comes to dairy, we Eastern Bloc jackasses do have a trump card to bring to the table. Those chocolate covered cottage cheese dessert bars.

you know, these gems of gastronomy.

Kill me Kip if you like, but I only tried this recently. It was very good, but it was a first for me and I didn't even know such a sweet existed. It's either only a Baltic States thing or it's not popular in my region... until recently, because at this point those were introduced and are already becoming available throught groceries near me.

Well, when it comes to dairy produce I'm a fan of "Oscypki" (smoked cheese made of salted sheep milk) which Eurofags hate cus they ban everything smoked (Oscypki are at least protected by law). I didn't see anything like it abroad, aside from Czechoslovaks ofc cus we share borders in the same region. I've no doubt you can find something similar as there is only a handful of things you can make that resembles cheese, but still. If you add cranberry sauce you can even treat it as sweets For me it's our national treasure!

I kill soyboys, not potential hussar towarzyszci.

I was sure they were polish thing as well, but again, maybe regional differences.
Here we do have 9845615634156126532146532+ different varieties of them.

eurocucks are banning the "dipped" goods, who are smoked artificially by dipping the goods in some sort of smoke taste liquid, and not smoking the meats or cheeses the way it's supposed to be.
