Aaaanywayyyyy... I think I'm strange when it comes to messaging.
Strangely enough, I got the neo-fascist girl's number and... I kinda made the conversation fall out.
Maybe I'm just bad at small talk over the phone, but let's be honest, who wants to have an uninvited conversation about deep topics?
After all it's an overseas fling, I'm not really that interested nor bothered about things ending up like this.
But it's not the first time, as you know, I tend to lament my little habit of not asking for the number in the first place, and even if, I kinda have trouble leading the conversation if I'm not feeling like it.
For once I'll be asking, what is your experience in messaging?

Messaging is easy. You don't have to look at the person and you can be as fake as you want.
Most people I meet act differently in person than they do in messages. And most of the times they are really ****** people when face to face.
Guess my point is don't take anything said in messages at face value. Wait till you meet them in real life.

Now that's something I endorse too. I'm uncomfortable with not seeing the face of who I'm speaking to, or at the very least hear their voice, plus in general I can't be arsed to have prolonged conversations just because I have to wait for a response, and then I just start doing something else and lose interest.
I'm one of those guys that spent hours upon hours on phone calls with my sweetheart, which was a thousand times better, since she was incredibly passive aggressive via text, while she didn't have the courage to speak like that.

I am the same Neraus. If you take ages to respond odds are I'm just going to either lose interest, or let the conversation die if I find you boring. And if it is just basic small talk and that is all of our conversations are I'm like at -1000 favour.
The few people I do talk to online and continue to talk almost daily, is because the conversations got real really quickly. In depth and deep.
So my rule of thumb is if they are boring, only small talk, take ages to respond, or are shallow asf, chances are I'm not gonna continue to message them.

Actually, now that I think about it, during highschool some random girl got my number and started playing riddles on me.
It ended up I guessed her name while she couldn't guess who I was lol.
