Posting my own mods for heroes4?
Is there any way to post my newmade heroes4 mods in here?
I would be happy to share those with you guys..
The mods would be just some little modifications to the game's fun factory

I'm sorry for not replaying earlier, but I have had some serious problems with my computer, but now those are hopefully over? About that mod I have made, it is still my first proaching to the world of mods and doesn't need too much attention I guess.. On the other hand, the modified exe-file is far too big to post and maybe you to download too (6 Mb)? I haven't got any homesite which to link btw.
Maybe I should do some work with those mods and upload them somewhere?

Well you know...
Making mods for DIABLO is really easy(Alteast they say) but even they need a TEAM to do it..
That homm3 mod came LONG after Homm3 realease! They already worked MONTHS on that one! This guys posted this topic some weeks after the release of homm4! Whahaha! And it's really HARD to make new creatures with the ugly creatures we see on the battlefield! And then to make them move! 1 guy? Whahaha! How could you believe that?
But it's extremly evil to promise you guys something like this! They should punish this guy by cutting off his balls! ow... I mean mouth! For lying so much!

Give me this
A mod allows you to make the game the way you want
Like Changing elements of the game and creature looks and stats! Even adding new creatures into the game! Change landscape and MUCH more!
Some games like Warcraft3 even allows you to make mods in the Map Editor! This is a cool feature! but in homm and diablo people make mods theirself! You need to be very skillfull with the computer to do so! And it mostly contains a team of workers! It's really great work! And you enjoy the game for so much longer time!... To bad this badass is lying is as$ off!
Should I charm a hacker that hacks his connection off? I'm good at that

I'm really sorry for bothering you all with this topic, maybe I never shouldn't post it in the first place. All I was really asking was where to post any mods (if available), is there somekind of a mod community for HEROES4 allready? I also mentioned about few of the 'mods' I've made, but those are just small changes to the games exe-file, nothing about the full mod-programs which allows you to modifie the game completely by yourself. I must have understood this whole meaning of a word 'mod' completely wrong I guess?
My 'mod' ( Or not 'mod' ? )

I changed all those words meaning the size of the enemy stacks, so besides displaying the message ex. few, it now says 1-4 on the creature info box, and so on..
Let us hope to see more and better mods in the future...
And as said, I'M sorry guys, didn't mean to bluff you.

ummmmmm not sure about heroes but Diablo is my ball game and Mod making in Diablo is not difficult and you donot need a team to create a decent mod it just depends on how the information is stored in the game archive...anyway one day i might get bored enough to look at a mod for heroes ummm not certain what you would want modded in this game different creatures i guess of differnt abilities and spells

Blizzard actually SUPPORTS MODDING
3DO/NWC hates modding! They don't support it..
So modding HOMM games is much more difficult than MODDING Diablo/Warcraft/Starcraft games...
You can't do that in just one day..

Sheesh Wesley...
Wasn't it obvious to everyone that he didn't mean some grand-scale project like WOG? R2, at one point, specifically says that "...they would be just some little modifications..."
It seems like you, Wesley, are the one who has been duped into thinking that this meant a grand-scale project. Are those lightning bolts up by your Minotaur horns interfering with your thought process? Perhaps you should consult a physician...
As for R2, there is, as far as I know, no mod community. If you would like to post your mod on a geocities site though, or perhaps e-mail it to some one who already has one, then we can ascertain once and for all if Wesley is correct(oxymoron) or just irreverent.

anyway, third party programs required soon for HOMM4. Im gettin' bored quickly with this new homm4, while other new games keeps coming.
This far, i am able to pull out those homm4 music and convert em to mp3s. So i don't need to run the game only to listen their beutiful musics.

Ooh, yes, I really wish that I could change my avatar every minute, and post things that make no sense whatsoever, and make personal attacks on others, and harrass newbies just for asking a question, and distort facts to my own advantage and then use false, half-baked ideas to malign those that clearly have a higher inner focus of control than me, understanding and manipulating their words so much better than me...
I have never claimed to be a programmer, and certainly do not now. Furthermore, I said no such thing whatsoever about new creatures.

Knock it off, you two. If you want to squabble, take it to the Tavern or do it in IM. Any further posts in this vein on the Altar by either of you will be penalized ... and by any I mean a penalty on each and every post. Really annoy me, and I can make 'em retroactive.

Anyway, yes, I do wish you the best of luck. As Wesley said, 3do/NWC do NOT support modification/customizing/editing of the game because they think they are being robbed or somebody will h4x0rz their gamecode. Glad to see someone is making mods, I don't have the time, patience, or knowledge to make a mod for Homm as dearly as I would love it.

Ok i thought id have a quick peek at the game code i only have ver 3 heroes is 4 substantially different in code structure as for mods looking at 3 i dont believe mods would be all that difficult...
Ok so what do ppl want in a mod for this game (I actually only played it a couple of times)
maybe start a wish list of things and we will see where it leads

Then why did you replied like they wanted to change the whole game?
A mod without new creatures isn't worth your time anyway
And I agree with the guy above me, they will begin with mods after ALL expansions are made and the game gets boring
well... in one thing your all right! They will make this expansion fast because it's a ugly and boring game... So your lucky this time.
But in that time war3/age of mythology/smashbrothersmelee is along gone gold! So I don't even care for that mods anymore..
Mods are for cool games. Homm4 isn't cool... Homm3 was
