Poll Question: Only 2 slots left...
Nice Sunday, everyone.
Last time, we've decided what's the most important skill for our dream hero's 6th slot. Now s/he has Log, Earth, Air, Wisdom, Offense and Intel inside. Only 2 slots left, and we'll need to be wise in choosing in order to beat our very good (human, of course, since AI sucks) opponent, because after this one, it's the beginning of endgame...

voted "other" because my build is not like everyone's build, and since in the previous pool I took armorer now I take offense, and since offense is not an option in your poll.... had to vote "other"
Seriously, though, snow offense! Offense is 5hit, armor is the bee's knees, and I don't care what everyone says. My tazar can mop the floor with the pathetic crag hack once I reach level 65-70 (which I always do in my games)

How long do you take to complete a map? For fights in a RGM to give all that experience it takes some years, right?

about 10-11 months, but that's because I choose to play like this. I landlock the AI somewhere where it can't bother me, I take the DD, fly, and TP spells away from it, give it the strongest heroes, army, skills and artifacts all the time, no offensive spell (so it can't waste the casts with 2k damage lightning bolt or whatever when mass curse / slow / haste / whatever would be more dangerous for me), and then I clear the map at my own pace, and in month 12 I attack him and.... it beats me
It might be a newbie way of play, but it's the only way I like against the AI... well, against humans, too, but usually people don't like playing against me like this

Well, if diplo is allowed its a no brainer.
About tazar - as far as multi goes the games dont last long - week 3-4 your opponent will get dd/fly and attack you, so getting above lvl 25 is next to impossible vs good players. Also on many maps final fight will be around lvl 10-15, so tazar rarely gets to shine.

I just asked because I usually only get more then level 60 in custom maps and the ones where I achieve the cap of 74 all take more then one year, except mine that can be finished in less then 6 months, so I think there is something wrong with it.

Well, the same word "main hero" can serve different goals for different people. Some of us want to milk the level, like evidenced in the comments here, some want to finish the game asap to get high score, while still others just aim to defeat the equally good human opponent. The poll can partially show our community's demographic as well

That's interesting. In that case, what do you think is more effective, the original Resistance of 20% chance or the HotA Resistance of -30% dam?

Orginal one was like all-or-nothing suprise skill. With luck it could yield better effects in shorter battles (5-6 turns) provided your opponent does not suspect you have it. But it was too unreliable. If enemy hero was high-power, low-knowledge, not Inferno nor Conflux then and only then I would consider picking original Resistance. I totally understand (and support) HotA improvement.

Tactic and Water.
Tactic is an absolute must against human players. As for the magic school this depends on the spells available, which wasn't said.

at example, your opponent has IMPLOSION and uses it every turn
your tactics won't help, unless he has really bad army though, then u have a chance
